Very cool and vintage looking. But I’m not sure how well they’ll work in the rain.

Nice job Kyle…looks good! Now can I have your autograph???

They are nice. But they don’t work as good as rubber ones in the rain or otherwise. I don’t mean to knock them, but metal floorboards (the ones I make included) just don’t grip as good.

I think these are great. Looks good, a cool idea in an era of ordinary ideas.
Good luck, hope you sell a bunch of ’em!

Cool but a bit to much $ for the broke mofo. Wonder if they would do one with the motor co logo?

Thanks all! I get the concerns about metal boards and rain. That is why I leave a rough cast finish on the insert! I am also working on rubber inserts, should be done by weeks end. Thanks for the posts!

    Kyle,
what I’ve done on some of mine is raise the edge around the back perimeter so your foot dosen’t slip off. It’d be a little harder to do on an insert that needs to keep the same shape, but it works well on a entire floorboard casting. Yours look good.

Looks like nice workmanship, but my bike wasn’t made by Shade Tree so I don’t know why I’d want their name all over it like that. Cobra does the same thing on a lot of their metric parts and I won’t buy them either. Am I missing something here?

    Woody,

Kyle is offering the boards with your own design on them as well. Thats why it says “Pick your own logo and finish” in the title.
