The 2011 edition of the Daytona Bike Week Biker Fusion will feature an abundance of custom bikes, art and bike builders but will also be dedicated to those serving overseas. to welcoming home returning soldiers and sending aid and well-wishes to those who are still actively serving. The 4th annual event will be held on Thursday, March 10th starting at 7 PM and will recognize currently enlisted and returning active soldiers. In addition, funds raised during the vent will be given to Soldiers’ Angels. Serving others according to the mantra, “May No Soldier Go Unloved”. This year’s guest hosts will be custom motorcycle builders Paul Yaffe and Dave Perewitz.
The Seminole Hard Rock Roadhouse and an array of motorcycle industry elite will once again be teaming up for this yearly celebration. Not only it is a chance for motorcycle enthusiasts to rub elbows with an impressive list of world-class motorcycle builders and industry leaders, but Biker Fusion is also a celebration of those who have chosen to serve and defend our country. In participating and donating to Soldiers’ Angels, you will be rest-assured that you are sending needed and wanted items to America’s soldiers.
Since its inception in 2003 Soldiers’ Angels has supported over tens of thousands American military personnel stationed throughout the world. They currently have over 225,000 Angel volunteers assisting veterans, wounded and deployed personnel and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways, including sending hundreds of thousands of care packages and letters to deployed service members. Soldiers’ Angels is a volunteer-led non-profit that provides aid and comfort to active servicemen and women of the U.S. military as well as veterans and their families.
In addition, the event is a chance for motorcycle enthusiasts to rub elbows with an impressive list of world-class motorcycle builders and industry leaders. the event consists of a live auction, entertainment and a number of great bikes from an impressive line-up of builders with bikes on display by Bare Knuckle Choppers, Paul Yaffe and Gravesend Cycles. In addition, there will be artwork from Jeff Cochran, Paul Cox, Chris Callen, Trish Horstman and Dixie Olin. Organizers are expecting record-breaking crowds in addition to record-breaking donations.
