2011 Daytona Bike Week Atmosphere (Part 2)

Rat’s Hole, Boardwalk, Willie’s, Limpnickie Lot and a few other bike dhows. Crowd of admirers. Loud Music. Not enough or too much light. Shadows of spectators on chrome and paint jobs. People interfering with the camera objective, usually with their feet… Reason why I don’t feature in full all these bikes. Pictures would not give justice to the talent of the custom builders behind these machines. But don’t be frustrated. Many of the detail close ups shown here belong to custom motorcycles that I will present in full during the coming weeks, this time with professional photography.

Well, my 22nd Bike Week has come and gone, to tell you the truth, I’m glad that it is over, I’m bone tired and I need to get out of town and away from the noise and the constant bustle. I’ve had a great time, but my wallet is empty, Bike Week is expensive!!! Thanks to all of the people who let me shoot their bikes, and to all the bikers who I partied with each night, and to those I never hooked up with, I’ll try harder to catch you next time. Oh, and Jimmy, I hope you make it back to Sao Paulo Brazil okay and that customs don’t charge you too much tax for all of the stuff you are taking back. LOL

That triple open chain primary, I want one for my next build. Do they make a kit for this? I’ve looked and have been unsuccessful at finding one.
