New Harley-Davidson Women’s Rider Comfort System

Harley-Davidson launches an interesting Women’s Rider Comfort System (RCS) to optimize comfort (staying dry, warm or cool) in changing temperatures. Women riders and passengers can use a three-layer system providing versatile gear that makes riding more comfortable regardless of weather conditions. The key with RCS products is to stay comfortable by peeling off layers as temperatures heat up, and adding them when temperatures cool down. RCS is specifically designed to fit appropriately when worn as a total riding system to reduce bulk and increase riding comfort.

The system begins with the RCS Layering Top, a performance base made from 100 percent polyester Coolon™ that wicks moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry. Two mid-layer options include the RCS Vest or RCS Windproof Jacket, which absorb the base layer’s moisture and insulate the body. The outer layer helps maintain a consistent body temperature by protecting the rider from the elements, and includes three options ranging from a Mesh Jacket to a 100 percent Waterproof Jacket.

The RCS items are available in XS – 3W and some Tall sizes. Each layer starts at $65 to $195.00. See your local Harley-Davidson dealer or visit Harley-Davidson (pictures copyright Harley-davidson)

All riding ladies should look like her.

I like the vest and jacket (top left). The vest has enough of a drop-tail to qualify as functional. The layering (modular) line of clothes is smart. The poly-propo material lays flat, wicks when wet, like wet wool & stays warm. (You don’t want to wear wet cotton. For sure.)

Zipper pockets w/ sturdy pulls. I like nylon-zippers. Patagonia® uses them for mountaineering.

Keeping your chest warm, neck and head warm is often all you need. That’s where the heat escapes.

    Logo blends.

Agreed. As opposed to 60 year old women w/ leathery skin, wearing a bikini and chaps?

Yes Chief Waldo, I beg to differ. I think this line looks nice and also comfortable. I like that they are sleek looking unlike some apparel out there.
