There’s an app for that! Comcast users can grab the XfinityTV app and run a search “The Great Ride”. Then select ‘record series’ on DVR.

I’ll be interested with what our pals at Fox pull off on our passion of two-wheeling.

    Thx for the heads-up, Cyril.

    RE:
“…. It’s about freedom, adventure and character …”

    One could only hope………

But in this day and age of “Nanny State-ism” where we hear more and more “American Bikers” yammering for a cradle -to-grave Government to make motorcycling “safe”…….

And all this in a “series designed for everyone”…….???
    Good luck with that.

What is being promised can’t be scripted.
Freedom has to be earned and Adventure can’t be contrived if “Character” is to evolve from it.

Their going to need a “Bronson Rock” to succeed.
Ride far enough and they might find it…..

Time to ruffle a few feathers, so here we go; What does a lawyer who ripped off the Chip from two other guys who started it, and then turned it into the biggest “Biker” money making scam in the history of the world, and only rides for photo-ops [and then dumps it by the way], know anything about “The Great Ride”! Probably never turned a wrench in his life, or been alone on a deserted two-lane highway in the middle of the desert, broke down, [God forbid, no cell phone or tripple A], and having to fix it with bailing wire ‘an a matchbook! Being persecuted for his lifestyle before it became “Popular” by the rich yuppy set who think all being a “Biker” is boobs ‘an booze! Makes me want to Puke! Of course I’m soo old school, I’m pre-school, and have gotten kinda bitter in my old age about people in it only for the dough. Wiz

    Wow Wiz…
Talk about people only in it for the dough.
What are your thoughts on a guy who cashes in on a name he shares with a “real” outlaw (and to whom it has pretty well been proven he is not related) and then writes a book called “American Outlaw.”
For God’s sake, the guy can’t even shoot a pistol correctly.

Warrior Poet [cool name, by the way], My thoughts, huh? Boy, are ya ready fer this? ROCK ‘n ROLL!! I didn’t like Jesse at first, who is this punk? But, he’s kinda grown on me they way he doesn’t give a rat’s ass about what people think, a big plus in my book! Do what you feel, go with the flow, ever evolving, changing, you got to or you’ll stagnate! Now he’s in Austin, TX, Groovy, spent a couple of decades there myself. I had to hightail it to Tejas ’cause the law wuz after me 40 years ago. That’s where the outlaws go! It was great! The authorities knew I wuz there within a week but they couldn’t do anything about it ’cause Texas don’t expidite fer alotta things. Statute of linitations ran out ‘an now I’m in the Dakota territories, still razin’ hell, if not more! I could write a book [as a matter of fact, I just signed the releases with a publisher in Florida, it will hit the stores this summer] about the lifestyle [good ‘n bad], the injustices, the fights/injuries [been clinically dead three times from bullet holes], the wrenchin’, partyin’, and freedom-lovin’ attitude! That’s what it’s all about, Baby!! Wiz

    Wiz,

Please enlighten us with more details about the Chip and how it came about as you say “What does a lawyer who ripped off the Chip from two other guys who started it”.

Myself, never gave a damn for lawyers nor bankers.

I watched the episode. It was ok but WAY WAY WAY too commercial. Definitely another sponsor paid and effected the content. I may give it another few episodes but I was NOT impressed.

Good to see you on there Cyril.
