The application process is similar to that of tinted window film, and the material can be removed and replaced when it is no longer cosmetically appealing. If you happen to be handy with a pair of scissors you can save money by buying the film in 6″ 3M rolls on ebay.
Most of these kits or rolls come with the plastic applicator squeegee. To get the best results take a strip of the fuzzy side of velcro and glue it around the edge of the applicator. Makes a world of difference.
