I am pretty sure Thug doesn’t like anything…. I’m just sayin. Really nice front end, can’t wait to see one in person. I have bought other parts of BKC and have all been top notch and of the highest quality, fit and finish. When I start a new build, I will consider one of these for sure!

Good workmanship and you can call the guy building it, try that with a DNA. That’s if you can speak chinese. It’s not to much money.

    Good lookin springer. peace

  6. 6 Jason Jun 23rd, 2011 at 12:43 pm

…”too much money”? Are you kidding me? Try getting a Jeri’s Springer or Denver’s or one from Freddie or Sugarbear…good springers cost good money. Paul manufactures almost every single component himself and….only sources parts from USA for those he doesnt make, not to mention the tens of thousands of dollars he pays annually for his insurance policy (another benefit the Chinese have on US manufacturers) so go buy a DNA then…why say ANYTHING about the cost of something you obviously do not care to afford. The negative comment about the cost of one of BKC’s springers is like listening to a homeless man bitch about the price of prime rib…it is really irrelevant.

  7. 7 Sugar Bear Jun 23rd, 2011 at 6:34 pm

Jason ……. it’s Sugar Bear (two words) …. not Sugarbear (one word) …… don’t you just hate it when someone gets your name wrong …..

@ Thug Cycles? ooops, omitted the “custom”

put the cap back on your jug of “hater-ade” – too much $$$$, ???? wtf???? while you were stylin’ with your girlz & applyin’ gel in your hair…trying to come up with a cool t-shirt design (no parts on your site?)… Paul & his dad have made a stand in this topsy-turvy industry and hold their ground using: 1) US steel, 2) american made hardware/fittings, and 3) even their t-shirts are made in AMERICA by AMERICANS…shirts, screens, everything.

furthermore, they have DOZENS of products…for bikes made to be ridden as opposed to the “billet barges/showboats” as posted on your site – your shit might fly with the “south beach crowd,” but let’s see you roll with Paul & co…try the “Big Mountain Ride,” huh?

too expensive?? whatever. i know how hard the Bare Knuckle Crew rocks it…

    off soapbox.

To the guys that look down & have the balls to talk
shit about DNA springers. I can guarantee that each
of you have bought and or sold a DNA product including
a springer. DNA had come a long way with improved
quality products and I can bet my life that today, you
still buy and or sell DNA products.

Ask some of the best world known builders that buy and
    use DNA products and wheels.

BTW; Nice front end but too much $$$ for the not so good
    economy were in.

    LX

  13. 13 FYI Jun 24th, 2011 at 10:09 am

“the best known builders” aren’t always the best builders. The best builders don’t use dna products

  14. 14 Shifter Jun 24th, 2011 at 10:19 am

I agree. The best builders who are in vast majority the well known would never want to show any of their bikes with a DNA part. DNA parts are China crap.

  15. 15 THUG CUSTOM CYCLES Jun 24th, 2011 at 11:09 am

EDDIE TROTTA USES DNA ON HIS BOBBERS WHEELS ALSO.. .. LOOK AT THEM AND YOU’LL SEE…

    NUFF SAID…

  16. 16 THUG CUSTOM CYCLES Jun 24th, 2011 at 11:12 am

FYI .. YOU BUILD JAP SCOOTERS!!! REALLY??? LOL…

  17. 17 DNA Jun 24th, 2011 at 11:53 am

If you only knew of all the BIG very well known builders that use DNA products and wheels. Some of these have won AMD World Championship in their class both in the USA and Europe.

    ENUF SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No matter how well it is made, it is a bit expensive for those of us who have had to work hard for our money. I bought a very nice American made Springer front a few months ago for a littlle over $ 800.00 with tax which leaves around $ 500.00 extra in my pockets. With the way the country is being run into the ground by our “elected officials” I may need the money to fill the tank and get a burger so I try to save when I can.

  20. 20 DNA Jun 24th, 2011 at 5:45 pm

Much respect to you Bigfoot. I appreciate your honest comment rather than others trying to downgrade a quality and affordable product for the US consumers like yourself.

  21. 21 Wiz Jun 26th, 2011 at 6:04 am

I still like the classic Harley springer extended with early Ford radius rods. Kinda hard ta find anymore, but the’re worth it! Wiz

  22. 22 Jason Jun 28th, 2011 at 8:44 am

I have used and sold several DNA products over the years. I never said anything negative about them. From a value standpoint I think they are some of the best money you can spend and get the type of product you want but you are wrong to place yourselves at the top of the food chain with a hand crafted item like a BKC springer. Our industry has been hurt by the saturation of off shore parts and pieces not just springers. I would like to see Ron Paugh chime in since his business is the one that DNA has in their cross hairs.

To Sugar Bear…I apologize for my ignorance…much love and respect to you and your craftsmanship. Without you and those like you Paul from BKC and myself would not have jobs in the greatest industry in the world to feed our families today.

To THUG: Rats Hole, AMD, whatever…your bikes look done right, you have all of the obligatory ink and proper South Beach tan. I don’t care how many shirts you sell. My bikes have been in the mags and on the covers for years too and I have yet to get a royalty check from any of that. I think it is sad that there are still guys out there that instead of just quietly building motorcycles they are still trying to build an image around them. Why aren’t aren’t you letting your work speak for itself? Let me tell you my friend if that is the foundation on which you are building your empire on it is shaky at best. Picking fights online and siding with a low cost high volume manufacturer against a hand crafted part in a press release is a bad move and casts you in a pretty dark light. Sometimes the best said things are when nothing is said at all. Builders and craftsman like us need guys like Paul…maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow…but one day you will.

    Peace and love-J

Jason …… Sorry you misunderstood my post, I was just pulling your leg …….. I don’t get uptight when my name is not spelled correctly ….. don’t take everything you read so seriously (especially from me) … I tease a lot …. anyway, there’s a lot of testosterone on the blog and it’s funnier than Red Skeleton ….

  24. 24 Old guy Jun 28th, 2011 at 10:58 am

Jason, you seem like a class act in your words an actions. Some people will have to learn that all their negative comments and bragging about theirselves does more harm than good. A legend in their own mind.

  25. 25 Jason Jun 28th, 2011 at 10:59 am

Ahh I didnt want you to think I was being disrespectful thats all.
    God bless

Oh ya speaking of class acts. Sugar Bear you are First Class everytime.

  27. 27 THUG CUSTOM CYCLES Jun 29th, 2011 at 6:03 pm

Jason … i dont know why your so mad at the world but it is what it is… i make a living off of my business , and im making a name for myself and been at this for over 15 yrs.. as far as you think as for me starting fights online .. i stand up for what i believe in…. i go to lots of events and easy to find… so find your balls and run that mouth like you do online to me face to face!! and as you said about me . this pretty tan tattoo south beach man, will make you eat your words … face to face!!!

  28. 28 Jason Jun 30th, 2011 at 9:46 pm

Tom, what are you talking about? I never got mad…you have me confused for someone else completely. You seem to be the one with the “mad at the world attitude, not me” I stated fact that no matter how many times you have a bike in a magazine or no matter how many bike shows you win it is my belief (and I certainly do not feel that you or anyone else has to agree with me) that your work should speak for its self. As far as threatening me..what ever…I think it is pretty lame that you cant have a difference of opinion with someone without resorting to threats of violence. I am happy that you have a strong loyal following but you are the one that was throwing around all of your accomplishments not anyone else. I complimented your work…you should take it as such. With regard to your fifteen years in the business…that is great too. I am surprised I have never heard of you. I have only been around since 2003 and if you have been in for over 15 years I would imagine that you would have thicker skin than you appear to and we should both certainly be able to agree that there have been A LOT of tee shirt selling builders that could not weather the storm and some of them have built some pretty shaky bikes and parts. That is the problem with the internet…too many people take everything so personal any time anything that is even remotely complex is discussed they go off. I am not going to comment any further, but you took my post all wrong. I am not an a$$hole and I don’t pick fights. As far as your tan…I was not trying to be a douche…I actually made the mistake of thinking that since we all post here often that everyone would not be so serious about everything that gets said… Please accept my public apology.
    God bless-Jason
