The inaugural “Rumble For The Heartland”, a charity ride organized by Lorenzo Lamas Cycles raising money to benefit Operation Homefront and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, happened during the Sturgis Rally. The second edition will take place on Sept. 2, staging at Appleton Harley-Davidson in Clarksville, TN at 2PM. The ride will be in honor of the 101st Airborne Division and will be led again by Lorenzo Lamas, military dignitaries and Music City Special Guests.
The ride will end in Whites Creek, TN with a reception taking place at “Cowboy Town”. Creek-side camping is available at a discount of $5 and shuttle service will be provided to the nearby “Woods At Fontanel” where Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson will rally the audience in support of Operation Finally Home.
All profits from Rumble For The Heartland, rider registrations, tee-shirt Sales and raffle ticket sales will be split between Operation Homefront & Walter Reed. One lucky Patriot-Level RFTH Supporter will be randomly selected to meet Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson backstage on Sept. 2. A Rumble For The Heartland night will be hosted on Sept. 3 at Nashville hot-spot “Division” including a bike wash, bike show judged by Lorenzo Lamas and live performance by Moccasin Creek and Special Guests. I like the logo, I hope the event goes well.
That creek side camping is cheaper than Sturgis ???
Cool. A riding event for charity right in my backyard to support our military heroes.
