Wanaryd New 3D Motorcycle Wheels Line up

A 9-year old company I didn’t know called WanaRyd Motorcycle (pronounced “Wanna-Ride”) is launching a Shark-Line Series offering 3D forged one-piece billet wheels in six different designs with matching rotors in 3 different styles and sizes, also and matching pulleys (including Cush drives which some other wheel companies don’t offer)

All wheel manufacturers end up machining the same designs, all inspired or copied from car wheel manufacturers. Who is innovating with true original designs? I want to know.

Always liked the 7 spoke design.

I’m partial to the 5 spoke. As Brandon says, they’re very reminiscent of automotive mag wheels from the past. (Cragar SS, Keystone Classic, American Torq-Thrust, etc.)

Does anyone know if they make a replica of Marchesini wheels. Similar to how BBS makes there wheel styles. That would sell like hot cakes.

They all look like evey other wheel out there bulky and heavy.. I just purchased a set of forged G3’s from glenndyne. unbelievabley light real european looking. Viz you may hit them on FB thats where I found em.

Jason is right, and yes most wheel companies are very similar with their designs. Glendyne is leading the industry with light weight designs that have a very different style from the rest, as do I but in a different way. I make TRUE 3D wheels, and while sometimes heavy, they are definitely not the same designs repeated over and over. These can be found on Facebook under M.A.D. Wheels.

Another batch of completely unoriginal wheel designs. Way to follow the heard.

I agree the Glenndynes are pimp too, they are made by Pm so they should be, but I just got in the Atomic starline wheel and I must say… I’ve never seen a wheel like this yet. The must machine the wheel quite a bit and then do the finish and then recut it again. much cooler in person. I like it a lot, happy with my purchase

I have to agree with RYDR! The only wheel company coming close to new is PM. RC Components just jumps on the band wagon after what they see is selling for PM and Renegade. Where are the wicked light weight NEW designs that you just cant live without?

The problem with the wheel industry, currently PM and RC have a lock on it with wheel forgings! Get that circle broken where more smaller guys can compete with design and price, I think we would see some interesting stuff evolve!

All this big corporate BS is killing the design for the motorcyle industry in general! Just sad to watch it go that way. Inevitable I guess.
