Ragehard Choppers To Manufacture Big Bear Choppers Motorcycles With The Help Of Kevin And Mona Alsop

The Big Bear Choppers saga has a new episode with a new surprising business twist, thanks to Simon Scott owner of a company called Rage Hard Choppers. In his website  (Rage Hard Indonesia website is suddenly down as I upload this article…) Scott published the following press release with information that will surprise many, including news stating the direct involvement of Kevin & Mona Alsop, former owners of Big Bear Choppers, in this new venture.

“Simon Scott, Owner of PT Ragehard Choppers Indonesia and owner and President of Ragehard Choppers Inc is pleased to announce the opening of our new Motorcycle Manufacturing Facility in San Bernardino, California. The Facility will be producing and marketing an extensive range of Motorcycles including the range of Big Bear Choppers previously available through Big Bear American Made Choppers. Ragehard Choppers Inc is already in production and is in the process of designing a number of new style motorcycles including a Sled Muscle Trike, we intend to release these new models at this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle event and rally 2012.

Ragehard Choppers Inc was established in November 2011 to fulfill an ambition and continue a passion of it’s owner to bring the brilliant range of Big Bear Choppers to the global Motorcycling community and to continue to evolve and set new standards of excellence in design, engineering and value with new models that will keep Ragehard Choppers ahead of the rest for many years to come.

Just to let you know, I lost over a quarter of a million dollars to Big Bear American made Choppers dude! most of my savings gone! The only way I could get it back was to go in deeper and buy some of the the liquidated assets of Big Bear and try to manufacture bikes myself.

I have a young family, 2 boys, and it was about their future James. Maybe that helps you understand why I have done what I have done, I couldn’t just walk away and lose money like that.

I am sorry that you lost money along with a lot of other people including myself, there are definitely no winners when a company goes bankrupt, it’s really bad all round.

All I am trying to do is put things back on track for a business that I was trying to get off the ground for my family’s future and this is my way of doing it.

    Best Regards

Simon. You already lost a quarter of a million? Be ready to lose more. Nobody is going to buy your BBC revival bikes and during this time you pay the Alsops? Hee, hee.

Business move that had to be done on his side . I see his angle. Gamble ? Sure is. But with every one knowledgable buyer that will stay away from doing any kind of business with the two associates.
There will always be 1 or 2 who will.
    Their gambling on the numbers.

It is most likely that the Big Bear Choppers name will be sold off in the bankruptcy proceeding. The name may be mud, but it probably still has some value. A BK court can claw back any shady asset transfers too. I hope Mr. Scott had some good attorneys involved here. Stay tuned…

Bankrupcy is for a fresh start, unfortunately they continued to take money when they already knew they were dead. It will take a long time for the lawsuits and the loyal customers to get over it. And tha does not account for the recalls for the bad neck welds.

  15. 15 BadMonkeyMW Feb 19th, 2012 at 2:09 pm

Where is law enforcement of this whole thing?? These two should be at least indicted on fraud charges at this point and most definitely banned from engaging in any other motorcycle related business until the long reaching legal issues of BBC have been resolved in court. Unbelievable.

  16. 16 Skeptical. Feb 19th, 2012 at 2:28 pm

Simon Scott. Are you sure that you bought BBC assets on bankruptcy? When? Or BBC just gave you some parts belonging to BBC’s clients who never got their bikes and a few tools to continue to exploit the name BBC? The truth, please. Just very skeptical of your press release.

  17. 17 UnknownRider Feb 19th, 2012 at 2:29 pm

I don’t think they will ever sell a bike. Everyone knows who they are and what they are trying to do and scam. I do think he is correct he “wasted ” $250,000. into a company bound to fail behind two shysters. They will all get what they deserve.

  20. 20 Doc Robinson Feb 19th, 2012 at 3:33 pm

America may be almost over long, fat tired choppers but the rest of the world is still hungry for that look. In Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and other regions, there is still a big demand for the style of bikes Rage Hard is producing. Simon is no dummy so you sceptics better sit back and watch Rage Hard build a successful business. For all the posters who raise shrill voices about illegality and spout slurs almost non-stop, it might be time to back off. If even a small fraction of the allegations about illegal activity were true, the Alsops would be locked down by now, not working for Rage Hard.

  21. 21 Ryan Adamson Feb 19th, 2012 at 4:14 pm

Doc Robinson. We don’t know if there is illegality. You don’t know. Justice may be slow.My opinion is that the Alsops are immoral. It looks to me you try to protect an advertiser in your Australian magazine. Being an Aussie, will not read it!

  22. 22 Septic the Sceptic Feb 19th, 2012 at 5:38 pm

  24. 24 Camshift Feb 19th, 2012 at 7:07 pm

Doc Robinson. It’s not the 1st time that in this website you defend BBC, only for your magazone and own financial interest. The only possible reasons and very reprehensible ones. Moto journalist? Of course, you are not, like most. I am not sure that people of the US industry are going to look at you the same way when you visit here..

  25. 25 Guy Feb 19th, 2012 at 7:17 pm

Doc Robinson, you wrote ” Simon is no dummy so you sceptics better sit back and watch Rage Hard builds a successful business” Yeah, right. Simon Scoot wrote “Just to let you know, I lost over a quarter of a million dollars to Big Bear American made Choppers dude! most of my savings gone! The only way I could get it back was to go in deeper” LOL. Doc robinson & Simon Scott, both of you are sad clowns.

  26. 26 Capt. Chaos Feb 19th, 2012 at 7:21 pm

Simon should call Custom Chrome and save them. Hey CCI used to pump the BBC crap like crazy.hmm I see a trend here.

  27. 27 fxrocket Feb 19th, 2012 at 7:24 pm

Mr Scott why would you associate yourself with the Alsops? theres so much negative publicity, how do you overcome that. I wouldnt take a chance purchasing another motorcycle knowing that the Alsops never returned deposits. I just think its a Bad situation…I dont think the Alsops will be showing there faces in SO CAL for a long time.

  28. 28 InTheKnow Feb 19th, 2012 at 7:33 pm

Has anyone actually SEEN a bankruptcy filing by BBC? There are several indications that a bankruptcy filing would be forthcoming, but I have not been able to find that they ever did, in fact, file. It may be that they do not want to do so because the assets of the debtor (such as the tools and machinery of BBC) have been taken by the Alsops and transferred to the new company. A bankruptcy filing would require them to list the assets of BBC, so they would either have to lie in the bankruptcy petition to hide them (which would be a felony) or tell the truth and have them confiscated to pay the creditors or BBC.

  29. 29 Oneten Vee Feb 19th, 2012 at 8:07 pm

Apparently a lot of pissed off bikers. This effort of excluding previous depositors in Big Bear Choppers who did not get their motorcycles, will lead to a negative view, reputation, and credibility for this ‘new’ start up company throughout the American motorcycle industry Mr. Scott is trying to build.

Mr. Scott might have been better off ( if possible ) simply buying the assets of Big Bear Choppers, not publicizing it, nor continuing to use ‘Big Bear Choppers’ as it’s name. It would have been much better for Mr. Scott if he had let BBC die in bankruptcy and used his own company name (Rage Hard Choppers) as the new name of the enterprise/company in America.

I do feel for all those that did get burned, and believe that maybe Mr. Scott could in someway leverage his business write off’s to compensate those left of in the cold with new motorcycles.

Also those who got burned might be better off ‘jointly’ filing some form of ‘class action suit’ against the Alsop’s to recover their financial loss.

    G/L !

  30. 30 Unik Feb 19th, 2012 at 8:27 pm

It doesn’t seem BBC ever filed for bankruptcy. It would mean Simon Scott is making a false statement when writing he bought BBC assets in bankruptcy. Good start! It would also mean all those whose deposits were stolen can continue to go after these assets and against the Alsops.

  33. 33 Evorider Feb 19th, 2012 at 9:36 pm

If BBC indeed did not go bankrupt, the co. that purchased BBC would now be liable for past debts and lawsuits??

Big Bear Choppers and the Alsops are that little brown stain at the bottom of the toilet bowl… Total scum!
Mr. Simon, if you have any sense at all, Your you ASS OFF away from this deal!

  34. 34 Stephen Feb 19th, 2012 at 9:49 pm

I’m not defending anyone and I don’t have a dog in the fight but Doc Robinson does have a good point that almost everywhere else in the world the raked out , stretched, fat tyre chopper is still very popular. If your target market is the “rest of the world” then what folks think in the USA is of no matter. With the US economy in the tank the “rest of the world” is really the market to be looking for. So I think it MAY be possible to continue to sell “Big Bear” choppers everywhere else except the USA. Personally I would not ever buy one and I would be very concerned that the Alsops are still involved but I’ll bet my last dollar there are tons of people all around the world who don’t know and don’t care about what has gone on.

  35. 35 Tony Feb 19th, 2012 at 11:04 pm

Wait, what if they build them in Indonesia, ship them to California for “dealer prep” and send them on their way. The costs for materials and labor has to be a fifth?

  36. 36 Scott k Feb 19th, 2012 at 11:43 pm

BBC closed there doors in Nov 2011 and Ragehard Choppers Inc was established in November 2011
No prethought or planning just happens to be coincedence RIGHT? …NOT!

  37. 37 The Supreme Team Feb 20th, 2012 at 1:08 am

Oh boy is this gonna be fun to watch. I’m certain it will be perceived as a “continuation company”.

Likewise if he supposedly purchased assets, there will be repercussions in the way of preferential payments made by asset purchase if there was anything discounted/liquidated. Because BBC has closed and BK’d, those assets were intended to be the rights of creditors that were not paid.
Next, if the Alsops received any monies for the asset purchase, they will very likely be forced to forfeit anything received (as if it’s not already spent or hidden anyway).

There is WAYYYY too much documentation of the BBC fiasco on the public domain, and too many people who know what’s going on on the back end for this to even have a chance.

Man that is the WORST press release I’ve ever seen. Good luck dude…BAD decision.

Rick. Very good observation. An Australian using an Indonesian company to do business in America with the Alsops as partners? Pretending he bought assets in bankruptcy court? Really? Hiding money, escaping lability claims, protection from lawsuits? Whatever the elaborate scheme, I don’t think it’s gonna work.

  42. 42 Wiskers Feb 20th, 2012 at 8:41 am

As a small business owner I know its hard in this economy. With that said I NEVER lie , cheat, or steal to make my business survive. I witnessed Kevin trying to convince other very successful bike builders to buy his company for 425k and keep him and mona on to run the company. If someone can’t run a company for themselves HOW! could you think they would do it for someone they have already screwed over. Open you eyes Simon your in for a huge ordeal. WATTA Hoot !!!!. I can’t think of a thing to add the the above posts. When this all unfolds it’s going to be more interesting than Hoky-Hey, Jessey James, and an OCC episode all rolled into one hour of rollicking fun.

  51. 51 Doc Robinson Feb 20th, 2012 at 5:13 pm

It is obviously way beyond the intellect of many of the above posters to understand that using the straw man logical fallacy gains them nothing. As for racist comments, based on me being an Aussie, these are the last resort of a retarded mind and almost unworthy of comment. And as for advertising in HEAVY DUTY magazine being my motivation, well that is so far from the mark that it isn’t funny.

  52. 52 Lightnin`Larry Feb 20th, 2012 at 5:32 pm

You all should go to Big Bear Choppers Facebook page and read the absolute drivel being posted there! Seems that some folks are all atwitter about the news of Rage Hard taking over with Kevin and Mona still steering the wreck! Guess these people have no idea whatsoever what the Alsop’s did or have done to people!

  53. 53 Gary Shreck Feb 20th, 2012 at 5:40 pm

Hey, Doc. A straw man is always an accomplice. So, much for the reputation of Simon Scott partner of Kevin & Mona Alsop. Simon Scott = 2 Alsops. It’s getting worse and worse.

  54. 54 GetYoHeadOutOfYoAss Feb 20th, 2012 at 5:52 pm

@DocRibinson, Wow, You guys even scream “racism” in Australia and I thought that only card only played in the USA? I guess not. Little factoid for you friend, “Austrailian” is not a race of people it is a nationality of a people therefore the race card doesn’t work in this application.

  55. 55 Greeko Feb 20th, 2012 at 6:01 pm

Doc, GetYoHeadOutOfYoAss just demonstrated how dumb your race comment is. LOL. You must be a good friend of Simon Scott. Go in business together. The Alsops need more help.

  58. 58 Just curious... Feb 20th, 2012 at 7:52 pm

So…given the fact that I saw BBC forward controls at my chrome shop 4 months ago, this has been in the works all this time, which would say that this ENTIRE plan has been formulated for quite some time…it just wreaks of fraud. Considering the machine time would have been a month or so ahead of that, this means they were making parts, and taking deposits (already known), with the intention of formulating this “deal”, knowing they could run the business under the “continuation company (bankruptcy court will frown on that one HIGHLY…enter the Feds). What a effin’ mess.

I’d highly suggest folks who got screwed, if you have not filed claim yet, get your claim in ASAP. I’d also take some snapshots of the pages here, as well as the BBC facebook page, which essentially represents them as “back in business” under a continuation company.

I feel bad for Simon Scott…just bought into a tornado of legal trouble, and got into business with some unscrupulous dirty mother fu*kers.
It will be a LONNNNNG time before you ever see anything of a return to profitability, especially as word spreads (and it will) about you being fool enough to get in business with the Alsops.
I heard Bernie Madoff has some very profitable investments for you too buddy.

  59. 59 Evorider Feb 20th, 2012 at 7:56 pm

It is hard to believe that these people really think this is going to work in their favor. The word is out and it is NOT good. BBC will undoubtedly go down as a piss poor company that think nothing more than making that $ even if its ripping people off and endangering peoples lives by not manning up to recalls. They feel they are NOW unaccountable but will soon know the meaning of “Karma”

I just found this recent blog posting on the website for Wild Card Customs who are the Australian distributor for Big Bear Choppers. Might go a little way towards explaining why Doc is so defensive…

    Here to Stay!
Here at Wildcard Customs we have been importing and selling what are arguably the coolest factory customs on the planet since early 2008.
With some uncertainty brought about by the poor state of the US economy, and rumours surrounding various companies, we would like to reassure our owners and potential owners of the future of Big Bear Choppers in Australia.

We can assure them – and everyone reading this statement – that the future is sound and that Wildcard Customs will continue to build, supply, service and guarantee warranties on these bikes. We’re here to stay.
Given that we own the rights to build these bikes, and have secured ongoing commitment from components suppliers such as S&S Cycle, Baker DriveTrain, Performance Machine and other very sound top shelf companies, our current and future customers can have complete security on all counts.

Demonstrating “his” total confidence in the product and its future, Doc Robinson of Heavy Duty magazine has recently ordered a Big Bear Choppers Athena Pro Street.

  66. 66 Unik Feb 21st, 2012 at 3:39 am

Very interesting! Doc, did you get a free BBC kit for support in your magazine? Or a free assembly from Wild Card Customs in Australia? Or both? Somebody is going to find out, I am pretty sure.

  67. 67 Ex BBC dealer Feb 21st, 2012 at 7:07 am

I’d like to know how they plan on explaining this move to all of us owed money yet. I’ve heard of manufacturers still owed money and im a dealer with several unpaid warranty jobs. Before their closing I made it a weekly practice to call and ask about funds. I talked to a guy in accounting who always said “next week”. Might not seem like a lot but a few grand in service work is a lot to a small business like mine. Makes me wonder the debt owed to bigger companies!!! And to think Big Dog pulled a similar thing…. Ditched their dealers, closed doors and opened bdm parts. How is that working for them? Exactly.

  68. 68 BigWave916 Feb 21st, 2012 at 8:16 am

Damn, Doc, I was willing to continue to consider your position in this thing, but come on man, last time I checked Australian isn’t a race so your suggesting someone is being “racist” and calling other people retarded (directly or indirectly) just ruins your credibility. Now we find out you have other reasons to defend BBC of Australia. Enjoy the Athena Pro Street, dude, just don’t leave it parked where somebody hosed by Alsops can find it.

  69. 69 GitReal Feb 21st, 2012 at 8:41 am

This whole Kevin and Mona thing just makes me sick. Someone needs to get these two and fix ’em up real good.

Doc…you suck wind. Typical media….blah blah blah to whatever finds your needs.

  70. 70 badams Feb 21st, 2012 at 10:01 am

This turn of events isn’t surprising. The motorcycle offering and company was merely front to cover for criminal activities. Unfortunately the by product of this was collateral damage with dealers and end users. The outrage seems to stem not about the BBC rather the scandalous actions that tarnished an industry that works hard at building credibility with its customers and keeping them for life. But have no fear, those in the know recognize the Alsops were fraudulent Opportunists.

I mean really, lets distill this down…..a “manufacturer” in Big Bear California? That never washed…..Now HD, Polaris, Ducati, KTM…..those are manufactures with Six Sigma production methodologies, R&D teams and QA for years before a model is released. BBC was selling kit bikes and a small line of stitched together versions with turn signals and template tribal paint jobs. The trend is dead, their business is dead and the sooner the industry considers them dead, the sooner it can move forward.

  71. 71 Boss Hawg Feb 21st, 2012 at 10:25 am

Someone needs to bend em both over along with Simon and Doc and give them a real good screwing.

Kevin and Mona Asslappers or Allsloppers…geez however one may say there names…are two of the biggest assholes I have the displeasure of associating this industry’s business with.

    @ Doc…like GitReal says above…you suck wind.

For the life of me, I do not understand why those of you that have been “Legitimately” screwed out of your money (not like Simon…hahaha) are not spending as much time writing the State of California’s Governor’s Office (or Lt. Sold both of my race cars and transporters after Pomona last year so I am without a race car at the present. If I go to Gainesville it will be as spectator only. I will let you know.

GetYoHeadOutOfYoAss – you can’t spell or count either. Two typos! And to think you had 8 fingers left.

  79. 79 Asdcompany Feb 21st, 2012 at 3:48 pm

Simon, my advice to you is; recoup as much of your money as possible and get out as fast as you can because you’re in a sinking ship. The biker community is word of mouth and you’ll never overcome the bad taste in a 100 yrs, trust me. Remember the AMF fiasco? Right now you’re in their shoes and I’m sure you don’t have the money to lose that AMF has.

That’s all you got Doc Robinson??? Calling someone out for spelling? You are a douche… How about addressing something more meaningful like the information suggesting you are taking delivery of a BBC piece of $hit? Call me crazy, but that would be more relevant don’t you think?

  82. 82 Lightnin'Larry Feb 21st, 2012 at 5:09 pm

For god’s sake Doc everyone now knows your whole story so give it up dude! You are now reduced to trying to find spelling errors, how pitiful is that!

  83. 83 CafeSportyTC Feb 21st, 2012 at 6:03 pm

I agree with Lightnin’ , Doc you need to share your side even if its true. it sounds fishy, no disrespect meant though…

  84. 84 Evorider Feb 21st, 2012 at 6:57 pm

This shit is fucking hilarious!!!! DOC got caught with his hands in his pants. If you ask me, it puts the magazine he is associated with in question. Writing good reviews about a company for a gift in return sounds REAL FISHY! Credibility is in question for sure and should hit the main stream….

I know everyone is all over the Alsops, but they are not the only motorcycle shop that made it big in the early to mid 2000’s, stiff a bunch of people and reopen as some other entity. Pitbull Motorcycles/Motorsports in Orlando took tons of deposits and never delivered any bikes and then reopened down the street as Diablo Motorcycles. Its a shame to have brothers ripping off brothers, but the greed and lure of the almighty dollar is eternal.

  88. 88 Doc Robinson Feb 21st, 2012 at 11:34 pm

Evorider where the hell did you get the idea I wrote in return for a gift? That is bullshit. I have receipts to prove my purchases, though it would be casting pearls before swine to waste them on the morons who infest this site and get most everything totally wrong. Leading people in the industry have asked me why I waste my efforts on the pinheads who post here. I’m beginning to wonder myself. However, I don’t like to see venom and hatred spewed at people from clowns who have had nothing to do with the issue for the most part which is why I put my two cents in. My opinions are personal, and have nothing to to with any of the magazines for which I write. Fubar, get a life you poor sad character.

  89. 89 Lightnin`Larry Feb 22nd, 2012 at 12:11 am

Doc, blabh, blabh, blabh, blabh, blabh, blabh, blabh. Your two cents are used up bro; go back “down under” that rock of yours and think happy joy joy thought about Mona and Kevin all you like! They suck and not only do they themselves know it but so do the majority of others! They are criminals pure and simple and when they wind up in federal prison for their despicable acts against honest hard working folks I guess you will still be defending them for reasons unknown to even yourself!

Apologies to all concerned on this matter for coming so late to the forum, but having just read the previous ninety plus comments, I now feel compelled to add my couple of dollars worth.

I recall seeing the episode of the oft cited “Occasional Biker Build Off” episode BBC first featured in when it first hit Australian shores and thinking to myself that Mr Allslop had the ‘vibe’ of a big talkin pretender who frankly, as an Aussie, made me squirm. The fact that I believe all of his so called bikes to be a blight upon the world of motorcycle aesthetics as heinous as anything eminating from OCC is beside the point, each to his own.

However, as a proud Aussie who has been through a business bankruptcy and did it with what I thought was transparency, integrity and a complete focus on investors and creditors getting as much back as possible, the chickenshit tactics of Allslop and his cohorts is something that only vindicates my gut feeling in the first place.

Furthermore, it’s the kind of spineless behaviour that makes me embarrassed to be an Aussie and to read ‘Doc’ and his ‘brilliant’ literary input only exacerbates the situation. Nothing personal Doc, and, no, I don’t buy nor read ‘Heavy Duty’ nor will I, you are demonstrably not in line for a Pulitzer Prize at any point in the near future and your syntax and sentence construction could do with a poofteenth of editorial input before you go off trying the high and mighty approach to anybody else.

In conclusion, I would like to think if there is any justice in the world, both Alsop and all the other bodgy, fly-by-nighters who have gathered like flies on a fresh turd to the fray in the last decade and more, will recieve their due comeuppance, whether that be at the hands of a rightly pissed off mob of unlucky, ripped off punters armed with chains, knives and guns or via the long arm of the law. Either way, I don’t give a fuck, you reap what you sew in this world and Kev, your harvest is about to come in.

  93. 93 Boss Hawg Feb 22nd, 2012 at 9:21 am

@ RUB….YES SIR, I sure do….when Kevin and Mona are involved, I cannot forget. Some in this BLOG know who I am and what I do and what I am capable of doing and I admire them, too.

But Now… to those that called me out and attacked me, please tell me your “evaluated” opinions if you can formulate some with focus as they pertain to the not quite so dynamic duo topic herein. Do I need to go and look at past posts to remind you of your names you bunch of worthless doe dick mutta fukers.

Like many here, I hope Kevin and Mona Asslappers or Allsloppers have a not so merry time getting it up the back-end in prison. As my friend says “RETRIBUTION” !

In addition to all critics regarding Simon Scott being involved with the Alsops, Ragehard will need to pay upfront all parts to build BBC bikes. A Huge handicap. No way Simon Scott is going to make it.

I lost all respect for Kevin in Cincy a few years back (the year he introduced his bagger model). He is very arrogant. He had some great employees though and more than a few clever ideas on how to get the kit bike thing working again after the federal law limited things to one build per lifetime per citizen. I was a kit bike dealer and we sold quite a few of them. There simply is no room for people that conduct business like they did in our industry. Their actions place them in unfortunate company with Choppers Unlimited and Midwest Choppers.

  104. 104 Norwester Feb 25th, 2012 at 11:43 am

I just found out about the big bear fiasco, takes a while to hear about stuff in the north! Hopefully the Alsops can somehow be held accountable and be made to pay back all the people who deposited monies in good faith. I don,t personally have any problem with my bike (2005 Venom) as most of the parts are built by reputable firms such as S&S, performance machine etc.. I met Kevin at Sturgis 2010 and I didn’t get the impression he was that bad of a guy! Does anyone know who actually did the designing of the frames and tins for their bikes? Hopefully none of you folks who have been ripped off are counting on the S.E.C. to find and return your money!!

  105. 105 Olfart Feb 27th, 2012 at 7:58 pm

    Dog Williams
Now that you bad mouthed Doc Robinson from the safety and comfort of your keyboard and your cosy little office, feeling happy with yourself are you, dog.
What a weak, nasty, mean spirited prick you must be.
People like you make me sick.
Have you ever had the opportunity to put someone down like you have, but actually do it to them face to face? I think not. Nothing personal you say, then proceed to attack with unwarranted vitriol, a bloke with far more credibility that you will ever have. You represent the small minded, weak under class that think you’re one tough mother fucker because you can insult people on forums like this with no accountability or any possible avenue for redress, other than more of the crap you just offered.
I doubt that Doc Robinson will lower himself to respond to your weak, spineless, useless drivel.
Just fuck off and stop cluttering up the blogs with your bullshit.
You will indeed reap what you sew, you give all Australians a bad name.

So my question is, is it possible in the year 2012 in the USA to rip off hundreds of customers, and not face any criminal consequences? They even have a facebook page and stupid people (sorry, but can’t think anything else) is still interested in doing business with the Alsops? You can not trust in the word of those!

Good luck to you Scott…….I have been trying to get parts from BBC for over a year. They have no quality control on their bike…believe me I know. I have been Renting two (2) of their bike for 4 years and I have never seen a company run so badly. I still have the 2 bikes (2007 300SLED Prostreet and a 300 DA Chopper) if anyone is interested in purchasing them. They are still i great condition and have around 12,000 miles. Finely closed the Business at the end of 2011.

  109. 109 James Crawford Apr 17th, 2012 at 5:08 pm

Everyone that lost money like me that they have never seen face to face should take a copy of their invoice up the to Rage Choppers, be nice ask for a test drive and hand the Faggots a copy of your paid in full invoice for a bike you never got like me and drive off with the bitch, my real Question is does anyone really think Kevin and Mona will have the balls to go to Sturgis??

  110. 110 Babe's Bike Apr 24th, 2012 at 8:57 am

Last comment in Feb, now April and see what happen? Ragehard Inc has successfully sold many BBC bikes and accessories around the world. Simon does have a good sense of business!

  111. 111 Chopper May 22nd, 2012 at 5:28 am

What a joke all round…The Alslops, Doc Robinson (if you ever met the man you would understand), BBC dealer Australia Wildcard Customs (it takes them around 12 months to put one of these bikes together. I bought one. They seem to have picked up Kevin’s attitude and the customer is never right we will just take your money). The entire is a fraud.

  112. 112 Pup May 22nd, 2012 at 5:50 am

Chopper, How long have you had your bike for? I was thinking about getting Wildcard to build one for me. But I am starting to hear a lot of bad things about build times and their level of service. I like the frame and the components.

  113. 113 Chopper May 22nd, 2012 at 6:27 am

Pup, It’s been over 12 months. Great bike, good components. Sorted out my few minor warranty issues with components manufacturers, instead of going back to Wildcard. Personally, I would look at other builders. I would not recommend them to any one. I found out after getting my bike that Wildcard were not the first importers of BBC into Australia, have a close look at that. A lot of cloaks and daggers for them to get where they are. Have a look at the web you will eventually dig up some stories. Makes for interesting, but it is sad research for the original importer and his family. Make your own mind up. But, there really are some top quality builders in Australia, I wish I would of done more research prior to purchasing my bike off Wildcard.
    Have fun and good luck

  115. 115 Tareke Jun 30th, 2012 at 4:03 am

Your very much correct brother my father (rip) was actually the so called exclusive and first importer of bbc before they shafted us.. We went through the who process of getting them legalized over here in Australia . After all of that they went behind our back and then made wild card a dealer aswell, who mind you purchased some of the rights off us which they do not show any appreciation for nor did big bear when my father passed , me ( working full time with dad) did not hear one word from them about condolences , just about money.

Big bear and some certain dealers will get what they deserve.

I can assure you that soon I’ll be more then gettin my payback

I just looked on Big Bear Choppers website got the number from site called them they answered phone buusiness as usual.I asked if they were gonna take care of my recalled frame they said they have been bought out by another co. and have no responsibility in the recall. But if I bring my frame to cali from ny they will fix it.Instead of bitchn lets start a website for all victims in bbc scam and petition with everyone involved signitures and situation and deliver it to the attorney general.I dont believe the real numbers of people been wronged and or defrauded is known.Lets make it known world wide.Time to stop talking about it lets do it.In the mean time anyone that see’s any of them in public have at em.
