New Boom Audio High Performance Bagger Speakers For Harley Electra Glide

The new Boom! Audio High Performance Bagger Speakers replace original Harley-Davidson equipment speakers for improved volume and clarity. The Fairing Front (P/N 76000256, $159.95) and Tour-Pak Rear (P/N 76000257, $159.95) are high-performance replacements for the stock speakers on 1998-2005 Electra Glide® models. A two-way speaker design with a separate bass and midrange driver and grill-mounted tweeter provides improved high-frequency response that helps cut through the road and wind noise. Increased speaker sensitivity provides louder output than Original Equipment speakers at the same volume setting, resulting in reduced distortion for improved clarity at speed.

Designed to survive the harsh motorcycle environment, Boom! waterproof speakers feature injection-molded woofer cones with a high-flux Neodymium magnet and are backed by a two-year warranty. The front and rear kits include two-way speakers with separate custom grill-mounted tweeters, electronic crossovers, and plug-and-play wiring connections. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details. For more information, visit Harley-Davidson’s Website

Better sound and quality is great but considering HD doesn’t make there own speakers why not just buy better quality speakers more less cash or justupgrade to 6 1/2 and gain more for less.

These are inferior compared to premium audio brands like Biketronics, Hogtunes or J&M audio.
Boom Only has 40 watts per channel Hogtunes has 70 watts per channel.. Almost double!!!
If you have xm satellite on your radio, boom amp will not work
If you have Harley’s iPod adapter you will have to purchase an addl relocation kit.
Boom audio does not come with wiring kit. Has to be purchased separately.
The dealer has to reflash your motorcycles ECM.. Why would you do this for an amp and speakers???

    Boom audio $549.95 retail
Premium brand like Hogtunes $349.95 retail

    Seems like a no brainer.

@Bert, At least it can’t be any worse than the twits with the car systems that you can hear going WUB!WUB!WUB!WUB! from 3 blocks over. Though with the stupid shit people do, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone does have a system on their bike that is equally obnoxious.

I have been hearing a lot about UNIQCYCLE sounds and seeing them at more events doing installs. As a matter of fact I was given one of their fliers during Bike Week in Daytona.
They have one that they say will produce crisp clear sounds at highway speeds and that is something I would be interested in. At present my stock system has plenty of volume but gets crackly (for lack of a better word) and I can not make out the sounds. I am not interested in something that is just loud.
I do not know a lot about this so I am looking for advice and information preferably from some one who has one of their 4 ohm, 300W, 2-3 amp draw systems installed.
I have gone to their website at http://www.uniqcycle.com trying to decide.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

So yeah Ill be the guy with the Harley bumping the Rap while I give you middle finger.

Remember we are the new generation that Harley is going to attract

Acorrding to Darwin, someone on a vehicle as small as a motorcycle, pumping jams and flipping other vehicle operators the bird, is a temporary problem at best. Good luck.
