Custom Built In East Europe

If you follow attentively the custom bike scene around the world and its representation in US bike show competitions like Sturgiis, you already know that East Europe counts many talented custom builders who have already demonstrated during  the last decade their ingenuity and unique style. Because East Europe is still economically an under- developped part of the world, but growing at a fast pace, you may expect more East European builders influencing the custom  industry. It’s also true for custom part manufacturers.

There is a bike show competition touring East Europe called V4 because it stops in 4 countries:  The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland with the Grand Finale to be held in May at the 2012 Eurio Bike Fest sponsored by Custom Chrome Europe in Moravia, about 45 miles north of Vienna, Austria.

Dutring the 1st competitions, everybody noticed this interesting rigid with Santee Wishbone frame, S&S 96” Evo engine, Supertrapp exhaust system, Roland Sands wheels, Performance Machine controls and brakes and rolling on Metzeler tires. Minimalistic and build to ride. You may see it in Sturgis this Summer. It’s called “Razor’s Edge“ and built by  Ivo Kolarik of „a shop called “Unauthorized“.

Nicely done minimulist look. Have to admire these guys from that part of the world. They’re very limited on resources.
