New Evo Sportster Hardtail Kit By Bare Knuckle Choppers

Many Sportster owners dream to turn their bikes into a hardtail. Quite a few kits to do so on the market, and a new clean option offered by Bare Knuckle Choppers.

The crew started with the idea that the frame should look like it came from the factory as a hardtail, not as a hacked up afterthought.

Design is conceived to make the new weld-on section flow smoothly from the axle plates to the original cradle, creating a seamless factory-like appearance.

Backbone also makes a fluid transition to the seat post. The entire unit is constructed of US made DOM tubing and is 100% TIG welded by qualified welders. The hardtail section is also pre-drilled for rosette welds.

Included with the kit are new rear motor mounts, proper slugs for the cradle and backbone, a 3/4″ stainless steel axle, necessary hardwar, and adjusters. Ride height options are 3 1/2″ or 4 1/2″. Priced at $499. Right now in stock. More info at 1-888-240-NUKL or visit Bare Knuckle Choppers.

Paul was the one that encouraged me to design my own frame and actually follow through with it and have it built. It rules! The only thing that I would want added to this rear section are Bare Knuckle’s signature rear axle plates and perhaps an offering for the oil tank (which I am certain you can get from them). I notice that Paul took a departure from his trademarked rear double frame supports under the seat. Good job!

Not a bad price but you better off know what you are doing with welding.

Looks real good with a great flow from backbone to the rear axle. Good price for a quality piece.

Ray…you could always send your frame to Paul or find a local guy with a frame jig.

Many people know the difference a good weld vs. a bad weld but just as important if not more is the quality of the steel. Bare Knuckle’s uses all the top quality US made steel. Good product by a good company.
