Swedish Style Frame In Any Configuration. Rigid Or Softail.

Clean, high quality, minimalistic and functional designs have always characterized the Swedish style. Since 1982 Peder Johansson builds in his Swedish Hogtech shop both long and not so long bikes based on his proprietary frames made by hand from the best possible materials to extremely tight tolerances.

But what most people in the USA don’t know is that in addition to his internationally known standard “Northern Spirit” Rigid , Softail and even Trike frames, Peder is also building on request in your required stretch and rake to accept Sportster, Knucjlehead, Panhead, Shovel, Evo or Twin Cam engines.

Your frame will get strong CNC-machined motor mounts in ST 52-3 Swedish Steel, CNC-machined Stainless steel axle mounts (axle is included) and Smooth CNC-machined steering neck with built-in fork stop. If you challenge anyone on an usual frame project, he is one of those to consider. And distance is not an issue when dealing with him. Hogtech Sweden.

These guys built really beautiful bikes. They can also be seen on the Survivors-Mekka of Choppers facebook page.

These guys rule. Those in the know knew about these guys before the 230 Avon; they ran car tires.

A Finnish builder here in LA pointed me into the Swedish scene in the early 2000’s and Hogtech and Robbin’s were the reference points. I opted for a Diamond Frame given the uncertainty of offshore ordering back then(prior to the wide tire craze); while a great frame, thinking back I should have gone with a Hogtech frame for full effect.

A Swedish bike done right wont invite death wobble, fork flop, or hairline cracks, and track straight over 90mph. I can attest to this with emulating a Hogtech build which has been all over California without issues. I still have the bike and owe it to Hogtech.

Given Paypal and modern logistics, if I were to do it all over again, I would source these guys for a frame.
