Sturgis Crossroads At The Buffalo Chip. Spy Pictures.

A few months ago, owner of The Sturgis Buffalo Chip  Rod Woodruff explained: “There has long been a need for a complete motorcycle rally park with free admission that’s easy to get to, provides access to industry displays and vendors and has ample and easily accessed free parking. It’s been planned for years and I am delighted that the Crossroads will be open during the 2012 Sturgis Rally”

You are looking at phase one of this admission-free new 20-acre development named Crossroads with the erection of the over 30 foot tall, over 50,000 lbs all steel (black & silver painted) Big Twin engine sculpture in front of the new 20,000 sq. ft Sturgis Rider Cafe to be fully operational in 3 weeks at the start of the 2012 rally. The Sturgis Rider Cafe will be offering great food, multiple bars, raised viewing decks and marquee live entertainment, amazing Zip Line rides, Wall of Death, Roller Derby, Dual Burnout Pits, Rats Hole and custom bike shows, Bikini Bike Wash, Professional Wrestling, Vietnam Wall War Memorial, Paving The Way exhibit from the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, The Felid of Flags and a wide array of vendors and interactive displays with plenty of free parking.

Sturgis is moving 4 miles east to the Buffalo Chip. What about traffic when coming from Lazelle?

Woody has it going on. He has foresight and makes doing business for venders easy. Good on the Buffalo Chip.

Rodent. It’s goodbye, not good by. Kiwi. It’s vendors, not venders. Buy American, but first spell English correctly.

Leave it to somebody with a pansexual name to give us English usage lessons when talking about the success of an attorney in rounding up a herd of potential clients. I’ll take a pass on the sheep dip.

This area is free and the music in it is free. There will be vending and also they will selling beer that I hear will be some of the cheapest prices in Sturgis. This kind of giving back to the rally go’ers ( yes that is a word) of Sturgis is a great thing and I am glad to be a part of it. I will be at the Crossroads all 10 days selling my book and generaling( yes another word) have a good time as “Mayor of Fun”.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame is looking forward to being part of the action at the Crossroads – we’ll be debuting our new exhibit “Paving the Way: The Women of the Hall of Fame” right there at the crossroads. Hope you all stop by to help us honor a bunch of great women who have made a difference in motorcycling. Thanks to Woody for the opportunity to exhibit at the Crossroads!!

Well I’m not exactyly buying into the “easy to get to” part of it, but hey, nothing is easy to get to during the rally….

I’ll check Crossroads out for sure though.

Oh one other thing, Before everyone goes and sings their all mighty praises to Rod, remember he and “Hot Leather’s” Berkowitz do business together. Just saying…..
