5th Annual Sturgis Buffalo Chip Legends Ride® For Charity Nearly Sold-Out

A few tickets still available for the 2012 Legends Ride, the charity annual ride kicking off the Rally. The Legends Ride on Monday, August 6, pairs Rally-goers with celebrities and top-bike builders on a 55-mile scenic, escorted ride from historic Deadwood to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, and the 5th annual Ride is on the verge of its fifth consecutive sellout. 100% riders contributions for the Legends Ride – The Ride that Rocks™ – will benefit Black Hills Special Olympics and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame. The event has raised more than $240,000 for local charities since its inception four years ago.

Tickets for the ride are $150. Free parking in Deadwood and at The Chip, complimentary food and drinks prior to the concert, meet-and-greet opportunities with master builders and celebrities, a special souvenir gift pack and an exclusive reception, entrance to the Motorcycles as Art exhibition, live auction, and concerts by legendary rockers Loverboy, Saving Abel and Journey. Tickets can be purchased at Legends Ride or by calling (605) 347-9000.

at $150 bucks a pop it becomes a ride for the elite, not the bikers. Glad they can contribute, sorry I can’t

Having been to the Legends ride almost every time, I can tell you first hand what an amazing experience it is. There are celebrities that appear there unannounced that walk around and get pictures with everyone and talk to the participants. Last year Big Kenny showed up. Now in a day when most concert tickets can cost 150 bucks. this isn’t quite that much AND most of all it ALL goes to charity. I understand if you don’t have it but I have heard people knock it because of the cost. We do what we can and this year One of the causes is Special Olympics. I support that ANYWHERE. Special needs children deserve support no matter where they live. I look forward to seeing everyone out there!
