Paul Teutul Jr. In Sturgis

Fans of Paul Teutul Junior visiting the 72nd Sturgis Rally will be interested in knowing that he will make an appearance at the rally with his crew .

He will be at the SKIL booth (City of Sturgis Motorcycle Expo on Lazelle Street) on Monday, August 6th from 1-3 p.m. to meet with fans, sign autographs and talk about where he got his inspiration for the design of 2 SKILSAW-inspired choppers.

One of these 2 bikes will be auctioned on eBay Sept 4-14 at SKILSAW Chopper Auction with all proceeds going to The Home Depot Foundation whose mission is to ensure that all veterans have a safe place to call home.

i think the last ever episode of that show i watched was when he was trying to set up his own shop , and was trying to get a solid from the CNC machine company they delt with at his Dads… I thought that was kinda a Tool Bag move… but the picture of him here just completes the mental image of a tool bag….. thanks Cyril , needed a luagh this morning

Would you work with a builder always posing with this attitude?

  3. 3 Bleeding Ears Aug 3rd, 2012 at 11:33 am

The kid is a jerk. Not as big of a jerk as his father, but still a jerk.

    I like LOUD pipes!

  4. 4 Greeko Aug 3rd, 2012 at 11:39 am

I prefer his father. Less attitude. A little bit less.

  5. 5 KDL Aug 3rd, 2012 at 11:42 am

I don’t like him, his father or the show. I can’t believe this drivel is still on TV. I don’t want to know any “news” about these clowns.

I like skill saws great products.

Skill Saw sees a great opportunity to capture the interest of the general male/female tool buying public with these bikes. Since 90% of the non riding guys who buy tools know little to nothing of the true legends among the bike building community why would Skill hire snayone else excpet who they know Paul Jr is a great namesake to sell everything from cheap BBQ’s to high end Skill saws.

Think about it this way the average guy/gal only knows of American Chopper and the Teutul’s because they are seen everyday on TV (thanks to reruns). So Skill Tools knows this and is leveraging his high profile name to sell it’s products to the general public, not the bike buying crowds.

Same reason why Mike Roe an actor who plays the part on Dirty Job is used by Ford to sell ther cars. Mike know little to nothing about cars but his image is what people know and why they may buy a car from him.

His designs are old and tired. There are far better builders out there.

  8. 8 MADRider Aug 3rd, 2012 at 3:46 pm

He has the stance of a Bad Boy far from it, he is a whinney whimp. Who wouldn’t know a bad boy when he came up and knocked jr in the dirt. His whinning and same OLD “designs” aren’t inspiring anyone anymore other than the corps. who are mesmerized into having a theme bike?!? Yeah everyone needs a bike capable of riding 5-20 milles before they have to trailerit. Why not spend sixty grand on a unusable door stop.
Thousands of great builders and fabricators out there and they keep giving air time to these bozos? The teutels have had more than enough of their 15 minutes of fame. Lets give some builder out there the air and press they deserve because there are soooo many more talented people out there than the dueling tuetels.

Many angry jealous folks here, There is something for everybody, and if another cool chopper gets to park beside all these BORING BAGGERS and unridable Rat bikes , well that’s fine with me.

Let’s see American Chopper, Swamp Thing, Cops, Repo Games, JERRY SPRINGER!!!

    uh hem America ????????

    LOL

What a toolbox… His (and fathers) designs are so far behind the curve – definitely washed up…

  11. 11 Zyon Aug 3rd, 2012 at 9:08 pm

I’m sure he poses the way he is asked to pose. I also think building a bike that’s going to help vets is a wonderful thing. He and his father have done a lot of charity and I think that’s commendable.

For those who say these designs are tired… they are still selling and people are still watching his show. So, I’m not so sure anyone is right. Just because the “industry” has chosen other designs than the stretched out choppers, doesnt mean the world has moved on, just means you have.

For everyone who thinks he’s a tool or a wimp or whatever, I’d like to know how many have spent more than 5 minutes actually talking to him in person…. I doubt most of you have a true sense of what he is like as a person. You only know what Discovery wants you to know.

And if you have spent more than 5 minute with him, you likely portrayed a worse attitude than you think he portrayed to you…. give your obvious preconceived distain for someone you barely know.

    john,

just quoting Jesse James from the build off show they did. 🙂

  15. 15 upswept Aug 4th, 2012 at 6:18 am

Will he be bringing his toyota truck? He sold out to American values and started supporting foreign corporations. He’s a jerk.

  16. 16 Tom Aug 4th, 2012 at 7:22 am

    Same here as upswept…

Guess show still still selling commercial time…:(

  17. 17 Rick Lossner Aug 4th, 2012 at 7:26 am

Sat what you want…..but he’ll have a huge crowd while the ‘ real bikers has 25 people reading his comments here:)

  18. 18 BobS Aug 4th, 2012 at 8:16 am

I’m not a fan of the show or the bikes, and I’m not going to Sturgis this year…but if I did I bet he draws a much larger crowd than the guys I would be interested in. If that’s what people dig then good for the Tuetels. As long as their fans don’t dis me for liking something different I’ll try and show them the same respect.

PERSONAL WEALTH OVER 28 MILLION, BUILDS MOTORCYCLES EVERYDAY, CARS ALSO, HAS THE BADDEST EQUIPMENT ON THE PLANET AND SOME VERY TALENTED PEOPLE TO HELP HIM…PRETTY WIFE, GOOD BROTHERS, YES HE HAS MORE THAN MIKEY, BUT MOST WOULDNT KNOW THAT…I NEVER REALLY LIKED THE GUY BUT IVE NEVER HUNGOUT WITH HIM AT LENGTH, SO I CANT SAY, EVERYONE HATES BUTIF THEY TOLD ME TO STAND WITH MY ARMS CROSSED IN FRONT OF BIKES I GOT PAID TO BUILD ON TV AND THEY WERE HELPING VETS..I WOULD DO THE SAME..HIS WHOLE DEAL IS MY PERFECT DAY, I STRIVE EVERYDAY TO BUILD BIKES AND HAVE A GOOD TIME..HE GETS IT DONE AND WHEN HE RETIRES FROM THE PUBLIC EYE, HE HAS ENOUGH MONEY TO GO DO WHAT HE WANTS AND WHERE EVER HE WANTS TO DO IT..SOUNDS COOL TO ME.

  20. 20 Shovelshot Aug 4th, 2012 at 8:29 am

Just about everyone who owns a bike is a “cake decorator”. Bolt off-bolt on. These guys just happen to get paid for it. If they were building frames, chroming & painting in house I would watch. The attitude is courtesy of Discovery Channel or someone would have knocked the shit out of these guys a long time ago. Let Mikey design a bike!

  21. 21 sollis Aug 4th, 2012 at 4:07 pm

You know when people hang out in the one room for a long time time eventuality they don’t smell bad air in that room , this is what happened to this dude he is been around for so long in public eyes now that he cant see his own ignorance and dumb image he promotes

Surprised you didn’t mention or cover Paul Jr’s 2 unveilings at Sturgis. Sunday night he unveiled a bike for RoadLok at the Buffalo Chip and Monday night was another unveil, which I believe was the Geico military tribute bike representing all 5 branches of the military. All I’ve seen mentioned so far was this autograph signing for SKIL.

Prior to that he unveiled a bike for QUBX in the Cleveland area. We’ll be seeing all of these on American Chopper when it returns September 3rd.

  27. 27 Septic the Sceptic Aug 7th, 2012 at 10:51 pm

No cake decorating goes on at Jr’s shop, Vinnie and Mickey would eat it before the icing is even set.

  28. 28 Fausto Aug 11th, 2012 at 7:20 am

I’ve seen a lot of builders pose like that-so what!
A lot of builds are “poses” anyways, the looks are always the primary concern, not how they handle, I’ve seen some ridiculous riding positions that would induce spasms within seconds of riding the bike.

I would imagine after building bikes for over ten years you would get pretty good at it, it must be even harder to concentrate on what you are doing when there is a camera in your face constantly recording your every move.

bad mouthing someone you don’t know on the internet must be much easier because so many more people are doing that.

  29. 29 Scootertrash Aug 15th, 2012 at 12:28 pm

Who cares….Start building some old school stuff, your cartoon choppers are done.

  30. 30 Reality Check Sep 11th, 2012 at 11:16 pm

It’s so sad to hear so many miserable people. Why can’t people be happy for others. The good news is that Paul Jr and Sr will go on to make a ton of money and all of those sad sacks will continue to live miserable lives.

Here’s the bottom line; If someone came up to you and said that they would pay you a ton of money to do what these guys are doing, not one person would turn down all of that money! If you don’t like what they are doing, quit showing the world how ignorant you really are and “choose” to do something else that will make you happy.
