Performance Custom Honda CB350

Steve “Brewdude” Garn owns a fabrication and machine shop in Creston, NC in which he bends, twists and weld trick frames for radical cross, mountain, touring bicycles and road, race and touring motorcycles in the style which his yours or his. Old school racers is where he excels the most as demonstrated again with this custom custom race prepped Honda 350.

Steve is well known on the show tour for being one of the very few builders able to get the highest honors in bike shows with machines built with a very low budget. During the recent Sturgis AMD World Championship Of Bike Building Steve did it again, winning 2nd place (after a tie for 1st place and re-judging) in the Performance Custom Class Name 9605, this very light 1973 Honda CB350 (weight is only 278 lbs or 126 kg) required very few modifications, but enough of the right ones to make it a fun & very attractive machine. Evidently it was built to look good but much more than this. The way you see it is a legal bike to be road raced in the WERA GP350 and AHRMA Sportsman 350 Classes. This guy is a wizard!

WOW! His work is nicer than factory and he does it without being garish. His work is genius! How do you make a nasty old 1973 Honda 350 look awesome? He sure did!

. In the day barely 36 hp. Nice work, although all the new Cafe Bikes look at least this nice. I don’t see what the fuss is spending time on show casing this Motor. You could of at least used the 350/4 Honda motor. Sweet, and Ultra Smooth. It definitely looks like it was built on a Low Budget..Do not mean to Pee on your Parade. Good news you will never run out of work!

The bike is for GP350 class and Sportsman 350 class. SO< if you knew anything about bikes you would know it is for 2 cyclinder with limted mods. Also, try to get a 4 cyclinder bike at 276lbs wet.

Great bike mate. Enjoyed hanging with you at AMD and being a social outcast with you at the Harley show. The biggest satisfaction comes from riding ones creation. Enjoy mate

Great bike Steve. Like everything about it – especially that it’s a HONDA! Good luck at the mile.

My bad, Brew! I love the look and smooth performance of the 4. I wasn’t talking about Racing GP or Sportsman.. Isn’t that similar to the Handicapped Competition for Challenged Senior Citizens that are still living back in the 70’s Bro.
