9th Annual David Mann Chopperfest Is December 9, 2012.

David Mann spent his lifetime riding and portraying his lifestyle on canvas and was well known by most of you for his center spreads in Easyriders Magazine until his passing in 2004 at the age of 64. David Mann Chopperfest pays tribute each year to the man that many consider “the epitome of the biker artist” with a series of activities held this year on Sunday December 9th 2012 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura CA from 8am-3pm

The event will feature a: 1- “If You Build It They Will Come” Bike Show open to all brands of antique and custom motorcycles. $40 registration and you get 1 admission and 1 event t-shirt. Trophies are amazing one of a kind pieces of art by Sonny Boy. Plus new for this year, there is a $2000 cash prize for Best Of Show bike presented by Perri Ink Cartel and Nash Motorcycle Co. 2- A very special David Mann & Friends Art Exhibit with David Mann’s first and last painting on display by special guest Jacquie Mann. The art exhibit will also feature Tom Fritz, David Uhl, Dan Collins and more. 3- Displays featuring World Class Bike Builders 4-Many vendors. 5-A new and used motorcycle parts Swap Meet 6- The Charlie Brechtel Band 7- Sugartown Rollergirls Roller Derby Exhibition 8-Food and beer, etc.

    I can still smell the oil and gas from my 73, man what fun I had with that bike. EasyRider was a time and place with Mr Mann stoking the engine. Booze , Broads and Bikes damm that was fine!

    All the cool kids come to this seaside party and it’s always a beautiful SoCal day made for riding… And David’s wife Jacquie will be here you say? How could anybody possibly pass this gig up?? Yes Ray, I’ll see you there!

    Everyone here at Suicide Clutch Apparel loves David Mann’s work. He captured the lifestyle and really is the Norman Rockwell of the motorcycle industry. I hope we can make out West to this and the Born Free event someday. Ride safe everyone and thanks for the great read Cyril.
