   Nobody would be slamming one of those engines down on a cart nowadays.

   Or hammering in the front wheel axle with the palm of their hand. Do that a few times a day unless of course it was that loose of a fit.

   @lyle … so, you think they did the manufacturing diff’ in … ’52 ..’51 ?? We all know ’53 was the last official year for that era of Indians…….. hence the low qty

    Still looks good with it’s sleek style fenders. reminsent of a thirties auto. Still quite a few survivors out there.
