Great video, great bike!
Manufacturing before OSHA. Gotta have a strong back for that job.
love stuff like this more , more!!!!
Nobody would be slamming one of those engines down on a cart nowadays.
Or hammering in the front wheel axle with the palm of their hand. Do that a few times a day unless of course it was that loose of a fit.
Well they never made more than a few hundred of them in 53.
I still want one. peace
Love these old videos of a bygone era.
@lyle … so, you think they did the manufacturing diff’ in … ’52 ..’51 ?? We all know ’53 was the last official year for that era of Indians…….. hence the low qty
Awesome video … always enjoy seeing ‘the good ole days!”
Still looks good with it’s sleek style fenders. reminsent of a thirties auto. Still quite a few survivors out there.
great vid. i like the part of engine drive assembly with cigarette in mouth. cigs at work? only in years past.
Nothing Hi-Tech about that stuff,Get me a bigger hammer!
What a piece of history !!! Thank you !! This was a little slice of heaven, I hope there is more somewhere …..
And then taking off at the end with the hand shift lever and the foot clutch! Awesome!
