Not much we can see of the bike in this video.
This video tells me, if you ride a Breakout, you will be riding alone….
No matter how good looking you are…
Ian is there a problem with riding alone? Thats my favorite kind of riding , when no one else is around you!
They’re marketing it as a girls bike, I see. Next step “up” from a Sportster…
I kind of agree with Waldo, they are marketing it as girls bike or they want to attract more women riders. I just wish in that video at 2:25 where they show the bike, to see the details better.
Softail is a good bike for the ladies. Not too heavy and bulky and the low saddle height makes it ideal for shorter legs. Let’s not kid ourselves either fellas, there are a lot of women who enjoy riding the hell out of their bikes the same way we (I) do.
Is that factory exhaust? Cool bike. Love the chick’s long hair! peace
CVO = Cheesy Video Operations.
Yet again, a motorcycle company lets a marketing person go horribly wrong with video production…
The music always takes precedence over the sound of the bike. A bike’s sound is always what motorcyclists want; a close 2nd to good detail & overall views of the bike.
Plus, music tastes are so subjective. So, marketing depts. or Ad agencies potentially annoy their audience twice: once by not showcasing the bike’s sound & again if the bike’s sound is obscured by music the audience cannot stand.
Cyril posted a great video of a guy on a Ducati 1098 riding through n. CA a while ago….that is how to do it
I don’t get buying a a big ticket bike that someone else customized……………….
For the record I didn’t say anything about a girls bike. This time.
And I suggest the next tim the MoCo wants to make a video of a skinny blonde gal riding one of their bikes…get a girl that can actually corner.
Actually, I saw the bike in person last week and the guys at Harley added some nice touches….Hot coated the frame, hid most all the cables, very nice chrome controls and wheels, bobbed back fender with big honkin tire. But have to admit the $26,000 price tag is way over the top………..!
Nice wheels
Oh I get it, she leaves the 48 and opts for the breakout. I’d have probably gone with the Sporty.
at least the “girls bike” has room for a passenger & you can ride it for a few hundred miles .
Hey guys the Motor Company pre-sold every single Breakout almost as soon as they were announced so they must be doing something right by many riders out there, high price or not.
I wish I was that lucky to hit all the green lights when riding through the city 😉
I like the bike and the video.
Finally a decent looking factory bike….BUT ???? the wheels
With all the criticism, the bike still comes with a better warrantee and service locations than any “custom work of art”.
Doc Robinson, your feet are obviously flat on the ground like most genuine riders. Unlike the jealous, snotty nosed girl haters out there who need to grow up and look at the bikes they ride. I bet not one of them come close to looking as good as the the Brekout!
Sweet…
The Breakout is a nice riding bike that is fun to ride out the gate. Plus it looks great and has plenty of power.
Each to his own, but the MOCO hit the target with this one and others quite obviously agree….go ask your local dealer the chances of getting.
Happy Thanksgiving Day Cyril!
Boss Hawg
should have got Michael Smith to do the shoot
I like it. Lots of strong women ride alone. The bike looks fun too.
Good effort from ‘The Mo-Co”
very nice but still WAY too pricey
Looks like a cool bike to me. To each their own. Buy one if you like it, don’t if you don’t..
Ride on
Nice name Waldo
I think so.
But people tell me,
I don’t know Jack…
