Discovery Build-Off. Chopper Live – The Revenge. Winner Announced Tonight At 9e/8c PM.

Should Jesse James be disqualified for taking more time to complete his bike? Senior too…The show is called Chopper Live. But only #teamfastnloud built a chopper. Should #teamsenior, #teamjunior & #teamjesse be eliminated because they didn’t build a chopper? I can’t vote from my phone. Texting to 97979 doesn’t work for me! We didn’t see Jesse ride his bike. Blah, blah, blah on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Discovery channel blog … and in my website. Bet that the fans of the losers are still going to bitch 1 year after the build-off winner is announced.

Well, Chopper Live – the Revenge will be airing again tonight at 9e/8c, this time live from the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino stage. Introduction of each builder with his creation, interviews, performance by Lynrd Skynrd and announcement of the winner of the 2012 Discovery Build-Off. Waiting for the result, a few postcards from Vegas and a reminder of the way you can continue to vote for your preferred bike/builder.

    This readers opinion of the bikes ;

Paul Jr’s …. to quote Steve Martin in that old SNL skit …. ” What the ____ is that ? ” What a complete and utter travesty

Paul Sr’s … Alien revisited … with a touch of the Borg .. then chromed over

Fast n’ Loud’s … Not bad but the furthest thing from original as well . An utter pastiche of what’s been done of late a million or more times . But at least it looks pretty good

Jesse James’s ….. Don’t much care for the looks , but of the bunch its the only one I’d ride as at least I’d be sure the thing wouldn’t fall apart underneath me . My choice as the winner .

Should Jesse be banned for being late ? Not IMHO but then again I think that one’s in the producers hands . The question they need to ask themselves is : do they want a straight up fight .. and put aside a minor detail … or would they prefer a walk over due to over emphasis of the rules ?

Jesse James all the way. He is an innovator in many areas. With the exception of senior taking a different path the other two are just rehashing what has already been done or along the same lines as what they’ve always done. Jesse’s willingness to step outside the box and do something totally different is what its all about. I think along the same lines make it your own.

  3. 3 Littlerider22 Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:07 pm

Jr. bike looks okay except the exhaust line. But overall it’s well built.

Sr. bike has a tone of engineering and an innovative design. Too bad that the exhaust kills the bike and he really needed a headlight. But he has a chance this year. I would have adapted some sort of a Yoshimura exhaust for this bike considering the design

Gas Monkey…. sorry guys, it’s not a custom bike, it’s just a bobber. I can build this in my garage (I have actually). Nothing custom, no fab work, plain old boring motorcycle. If this is what it takes to be on a biker build-off, a lot of readers of this blog can be contenders.

Jesse…. well Jesse built a glorified Buell this time. Doesn’t matter if he built his frame or a fancy tranny case. On top of that, he didn’t follow the rules and asked for a 2 weeks extension, which is bullshit. I like his bike but that’s not Jesse’s style and overall looks like a weird kid a Buell would have with a Ducati Monster. And his arrogance during the show needs to be toned down, no matter if it’s scripted or not.

The show sucked… this constant 3rd grade bashing, telling each other they don’t make their parts was lame, sending eachother bogus gifts or blowing up stuff is not even entertaining. They all made their parts, one way or another, by hand or with CNC machine. The bikes can be ridden anywhere, all of them. I have seen worst customs on the road than those. OCC wanted to show their skills with industrial design and new technology approach. Jr. still stuck to his design and it wasn’t too bad at the end. Jesse still thinks he has a bigger d!@# than everybody else because he can forge metal and have done this longer. Though, that’s the second time he built a bike and I don’t see him winning this. Sr. made a final effort to show the capabilities of his company because the show ends forever. They succeeded in some ways. Gas Monkey are not bike builders, they are old school guys flipping cars. While they did an okay job with this bike, it’s certainly not to the level of the other guys. Period. They should stick to what they do best… cars.

Bending the rules like they did proves this show is rigged and doesn’t matter who wins because it’s all about marketing and entertainment.

None of the bikes appeal to me but if I had to choose, I would take Jr. bike,
At least none of them built a bagger with a 30″ front wheel and stretched everything…..

  4. 4 hk Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:08 pm

paul jr bike is dumb as hell,im glad he made that ,it just proves that he doesnt know how to make a real bike just themed weirdo stuff.

sr’s bike is something you would see built in europe or japan ,not terribly original but for them i guess it is so ill give him some credit for finally making a proper bike …even tho im sure all he did was follow along .

jesse’s bike even tho im sure there is some innovations going on there like how the engine is a stressed member etc but nothin you havent seen style wise before .Its a bike seen a bunch of times in any streetfighter mag, sorry but welcome back to 2004

gas monkey bike is the only one i like ,but nothing original ,just a clean resto and a clean chop . If i was to vote it would be for them .

Would have been nice to see senior build an old school sugar bear chop ,paul jr could have put down his phone and asked his people to make a classy clean boardtracker or something he could have used his big wheels on but with a small sense of reality ,gas monkey built a bike so no improvement other than maybe some more hand fabbed parts ,and jesse built what i think is a good entry just kinda boring .

Next time i say put the guys in a sealed room with some tools by themselves and see what they come up with ,pretty sure only gas monkey and jesse would ride out with a bike .

    my 20c.

  5. 5 roscoe Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:10 pm

I fell asleep during the show, what does the bike that Fast and Loud look like? From the pic above, it looks like some kinda “bobber”?

  6. 6 Ken Glenn Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:19 pm

Didn’t see Jr or Sr do anything but watch the hired help. I’m sure Sr didn’t to that design work. Jesse built a fine machine that I would love to take to the track. BUT! It is CHOPPER live. Not only did Gas Monkey build a nice well built rideable machine but did all the work themselves and got it done on time. They may not be the best builders but I would like to see the gASS Monkeys win. Unfortunately, in a popular vote by text, most of the votes are made by people that have no idea what it is all about. Soo! Jr will probably win with the junk yard special.

  7. 7 Mazz Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:49 pm

Apples and oranges……..as far as the “chopper”/”bobber” stuff goes, a custom is anything altered from stock, the bike is still custom.

Now up here in Canada, we have not seen the show yet, for some god forsaken reason, Discovery Canada is waiting to show it to us on Thursday and Friday nights, who’s lame ass idea was that? Because of that, I didn’t get to see how the machines were built so if some of my comments are out, it’s because of that.
Fast n’ Loud – cool bike, no matter what, it’s a cool bike. Colors are cool, the details are cool, is it the least expensive? Hell ya, but so what?
Jesse James – Another cool bike, craftsmenship, innovation again cool colors with the blue and metal. Is it a “chopper”, well it was built by a Master chopper builder, and it is certainly custom, nice bike. Disqualify him? Of course not, it’s a show for f*$k sakes, the producers would be crazy to disqualify anyone.
Senior – Again, cool bike, innovation, creative, different, everything everyone has been accusing him of “not” being for years, he’s proven many wrong with this one, good job I say.
Jr – HIs style is “over the top” so why in the hell does this surprize anyone?? It’s cool in it’s own right, the boys over there know what they are doing, are they the level of Jesse James?? Hell no, they are different, that’s all, not all bikes are for everyone. Still a cool bike.

To conclude, vote for the bike you like the most, base your vote on whatever the hell you want to base it on, it’s your vote!!! Trashing others gets you nowhere but entertained. Take it all in, in the spirit it was created in, to entertain. Who am I voting for?? Nobody, can’t vote this side of the border. Who’s would I vote for?? Fast n’ Loud, only because it’s the style of bike I like and they make me laugh, Jesse’s bike is a very close second for me along with Senior’s because I think this is the direction “custom” HD based bikes are going. Jr’s bike would be last only because I think it’s just a little bit dated now, flat black and red wheels, still love the color combo but it’s been done to death!!

My two cents (and about all it’s worth in US dollars!!)

  8. 8 Josh Parker Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:04 pm

Did you see how small is Jesse’s bike? WTF?

  9. 9 Woody Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:06 pm

Since I couldn’t make it through the first 30 minutes of the show I won’t vote. I do hope that enough other people feel the same way and get the hint to the Discovery Channel that the “real housewives of bike building” isn’t a good theme. The bikes all look great IMHO, but I have no idea what the fine print in the rules was so I don’t know if ANY of them are eligible to win. I’d rather see something closer to the old Milw. Iron one, where the bikes were the stars, closely followed by the people building them. Not a bunch of trash talk about whomever wasn’t in the room. Great bikes, but the show was too childish to stomach.

  10. 10 Bulletbill Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:15 pm

Who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to text your vote? Does Discovery and ChristoDoyle think Jesse’s fans are stupid enough to submit their phone numbers for future spam? Nay, I say they did it to ensure he doesn’t win.

  11. 11 1 Fast HD Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:15 pm

I have some mixed feelings about the show, Jr. Yeah same strange stuff I would never ride, or will anyone else. SR., at least he built a bike this time, that is an improvement. JJ, I cannot believe he had to ask for more time. Bike looks a little small. Gas Monkey well, like it was said above they built a bobber that most could do in their garage with basic tools, which is how they did it. Gotta respect them if they actually rode it to Vegas, that is pretty cool in my book.

  12. 12 Rich Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:38 pm

Has anyone noticed the fork travel on the gas monkey bike? They built a bike most guys with a little talent could build in a garage.

Sr’s bike is certainly a departure from their usual stuff.

Jr’s bike is his normal themed stuff, look how far his right peg sits out to clear the header… Stupid.

Jesse’s bike is cool but all the trash talking gets old.

  13. 13 BobS Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:57 pm

Aaron wins just for finishing his bike on time and riding it 1300 miles to get to the “competition”.

  14. 14 RoadWarrior Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:15 pm

Rich – what fork travel? I stopped the video on my DVR and played it back and forth in every riding sequence. Even using slow motion, I didn’t see the forks move.

The roads in Texas must be smooth as glass.

  15. 15 John Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:17 pm

The bike I’d want to take the first ride on? Jessie’s

The bike I’d want an american company to build and mass produce? Sr’s

The bike I’d want to own the rest of my life? Gas Monkey’s

The bike I wouldn’t want to be seen on? Jr’s

  16. 16 Sharrack Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:21 pm

Looked like 1-1/2. ” at best on that fork travel. not sure how that works.

  17. 17 Rich Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:30 pm

There is no way that bike was riden to Vegas. Hit one pothole and it’s superman time…. Look mom im flying….lol. Cool shovel but nothing new there

  18. 18 voxnulla Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:37 pm

I like Seniors bike. It looks like they took what they learned the last couple of years and implemented some styling ques from Junior from the last build-off. I’d rather see a stolen idea executed well then an original one executed badly. I say this is a hot contender.

JJ’s bike is odd. It’s this years tank-tracked scorpion entry. For most of the same reasons I disliked OCC’s entry last time, I also dislike this. In my experience, real innovation is progress you can’t see.
If this entry wins, then it nullifies OCC’s third place last time.

I didn’t see the bike by the monkeys with gas yet, but from what I hear, they build a bike. Good thing!
In the past we have seen build-offs where less well equipt shops created masterpieces of engineering and craftsmanship, the Australian hand crafted aluminium bike springs to mind. I don’t think these guys reach that level. Perhaps they could not be bothered in the end.

Jr’s bike, I must admit, I do like. Not a lot of big surprises, but sticking to a personal style counts for something. I do like the art-deco style elements in this bike. It could be picked right out of the classic “metropolis” movie. As for the clean matte paint job, it shows me that he’s not trying to repeat last years formulae. The understated quality could be interpreted as confidence.

I’d vote for JR, if I could.

  19. 19 John Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:49 pm

I like how the first thing they show is Jesse grabbing his motor from a perfomance shop and later he says he is the only one that fabricates – doing 99% of the motorcycle. So the motor is only 1% of a motorcycle?

  20. 20 Manhattan Choppers Dec 11th, 2012 at 3:35 pm

Littlerider22 nailed it, he should win, especially the dumb pranks that are so occ old. Just a way to fill

2hrs that should be one. He is obviously a builder.
Where are talents like Matt H? Guess they had to put in f/l cause they have a show that has been done way too much by now.

  21. 21 Wilbur Dec 11th, 2012 at 3:37 pm

Overall I though the show was OK not great. Here’s my 2 cents

Senior- OCC built something different, I honestly don’t think senior had a thing to do with it other then a couple styling suggestions. I think most of the actual work was done by Skeeter Todd and there CNC operator Jim. The kind of engineering skill it takes to build a bike like that is not something I see senior being capable of. On the other hand I know that Mr. Todd would be more then capable of building that bike from the ground up on his own.

Junior- I have to admit I got a little excited when I heard him talking about his idea for the build. Then I saw him mock the grill up and I was done. Ya overall its kinda cool to look at but it just seems like to many different ideas thrown together trying to make something work . It just doesn’t flow right. plus I never saw him or SR TOUCH a single tool for the whole 2 hour show.

Jesse- I have to say before the show started Jesse was my pick to win. But his ignorance and piss poor attitude lost it. Woohoo good for you, you can build and forge your own parts. I have a ton of respect for Jesse as a blacksmith. In my mind he is in the same boat as JR and SR. NO ONE would even know his name if it weren’t for discovery. He said it himself hes been building the same style of bike since he was 16. Take a look at one of his bikes… then take a look at any of the winners of some of the European Competitions and tell me which is better? The bike is cool but as someone said above I don’t remember the last time I looked at my bike and though the motor was only 1% of it.

GMG- so it has a title. Matching Engine, Trans, and frame (or atleast partly). The work was done in what could be considered a typical shop. It was then ridden from Texas to Las Vegas (reliability run if you will) From the pictures it seems to have been done within a budget that most could afford. Seems to me like it was the only bike that was built without the help of Million dollar equipment and deep deep pockets. They have my vote for following the rules and building a bike that would be within the reach of the common man to buy or build.

Love it or hate it… this show does not hurt the industry. As the old saying goes. “Any exposure is good exposure”

  22. 22 Mika Dec 11th, 2012 at 3:43 pm

I respect Jesse’s abilities but I am so sick and tired of him constantly talking about himself as if he’s the best thing since sliced bread. What motorcycle innovations have you come up with? Or are you pretty much just hanging your hat on fabricating parts?

Did you do the engineering work on that frame, or did someone else run the calculations and give you dimensions? Or did you not do any engineering calculations at all? If you didn’t do the numbers at all or if someone else did them for you, quit acting like the other guys are assholes for doing the exact same thing you do – building parts with the tools at their disposal.

I really loved the bike you made for Honda using the VTX motor – that was really badass, and I like your bike this time around. But I wish you’d quit spending half your airtime trash talking others and talking like you’re the second coming of christ, and just get on with building stuff. Maybe you’d have finished in time then?

  23. 23 Manhattan Choppers Dec 11th, 2012 at 3:51 pm

    Bunch of Suckas here.

Jr. gonna take it by a landside.

    GM 2nd.

The hell with JJ and SR…egotistical infidels.

    Git Real

  25. 25 Vegas Boy Dec 11th, 2012 at 6:13 pm

So that everybody knows the truth. Builders had 6 weeks to build the bike. Deadline was November 2nd. Jesse James finished his bike in Austin December 9th. See Cyril’s report at: http://goo.gl/4RARo

So it means that Jesse had 5 weeks more to work (almost double time) and his bike was never ridden. There was still sticker on the tire when he arrived in Vegas!. Heard that there was a verbal exchange between Richard Rawlings and Jesse James,

  26. 26 Tom D Dec 11th, 2012 at 6:52 pm

What’s with all the stupid Tweets popping up on my TV set while watching last night?
Damn I hate Tweeter…more annoying smack talk:(

i watched all season n every year since it started.I LOVE the way jr.comes up w/his design n it shows when it,s all complete.they all have great bikes.I would LOVE to have any 0ne them.My pick would b JR.S.then fast n loud.toss up btween the two

  28. 28 tom Dec 11th, 2012 at 8:30 pm

    toss up is on j essie n sr. for 3rd n 4th

    Go fast n loud 🙂

  30. 30 Tina Marie Dec 11th, 2012 at 10:39 pm

I viewed the website for Gas Monkey Garage and no where does it show photos of custom bikes they ‘Claim’ they’ve built. Just who purchased one of their creations?
Actually I wasn’t impressed with any bikes, should have invited Arlen Ness or some other builders.

  31. 31 AYD Dec 11th, 2012 at 10:58 pm

    Jr has this hands down

  32. 32 Anthony Ervin Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:01 pm

Tom and Jerry or fast and loud grease monkeys what the hell ever need to go back where they come from. And when they said something about Jesse’s family,… Talk shit get hit. They need to be took off the show out of the competition. You do not talk about nobody’s family. I would trust Ryden Jesse’s piece of art before any of them other bikes . So my opinion and my vote where to Jesse James the real deal. I’ll PS, I feel sorry for fast and loud guys. I just wonder if they’re going to make it back to Texas alive.

  33. 33 Pete F Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:23 pm

Jesse’s bike is phenomenal, but I cannot vote for a late build. Senior’s bike is the best for a state of the art shop with all the bells and whistles high tech and all. Jr’s bike is kinda gaudy. Fast and Loud did a great job, came in on time and drove it in which no one else did. Fast and Loud gets my vote!

  34. 34 Mika Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:42 pm

    Lame fake Discovery drama….

As usual, Jesse bitches out, acting like a tough guy on TV, and backing right down when he’s face to face (all the crap he talked about Jr, only to be poking and playing with him in person).

But Rich from Fast and Loud is a real douchebag. Talking trash about Jesse’s family is below the belt – bad move. That Rich guy comes across like a sleazy used car salesman and the kind of guy who thinks he’s slick and smooth but in reality is just an annoying chump that you just want to leave. The kind of guy you can’t have a real conversation with because he’s just so fake. Would have liked to see JJ clock him.

  35. 35 David Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:46 pm

The fix was in for Jr. and a new show down the line. Jesse won even though he was late (always takes more time if you do it yourself). I think there should be more guide lines if it is truly a chopper build off and not just build a what’s in your head bike.
GM bike looks just like one I watched James Cole build in the build off series. And I’m really tired of Theme Bikes and thats all Jr. and Sr. can build…who wants that crap except Corp. America to show off with and have a tax write off for advertising.

    SSDD; David

  36. 36 Anthony Ervin Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:48 pm

I don’t believe that the votes count. Of all the responses and all the web sites I’ve read, them grease monkeys should not have been in second place. I believe Paul junior I was going to win regardless. But that other bike grease monkeys brought they just bought a bike change the gas tank and cleaned it up that is not a biker build off. You look at the real biker build off. They woulda got laughed of the stage . Really who won ain’t the point, it’s just them grease monkeys beat Paul seniors bike and Jesse James. That no way make sense. Well y’all going to let who you want to win, then I have no interest in watching the Discovery Channel no more. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m posting this on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and going to share it with the History Channel and in my hometown the SPEED Channel. Yeah that’s right, I know the people at the SPEED Channel and Charlotte North Carolina right near Concord Motor Speedway.

  37. 37 Trail Boss Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:49 pm

I really miss the Biker Build Off days when the contestants rode their bikes together for considerable miles to the voting site. Glad that Gas Monkey received some recognition for the practical chopper Aaron built.

  38. 38 larry adams Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:53 pm

gas monkeys bought a bike off the street and refurbished it,they didn’t build a bike, they shouldn’t have been allowed in this.

  39. 39 KAHUNA Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:59 pm

THE ONLY REAL BIKERS BIKE ON THAT STAGE WAS FROM FAST AND LOUD ,
AND THAT WAS THE ONLY ONE I WOULD PUT MY BIG ASS ON AND RIDE FOE EVER!!!

  40. 40 Bludog Dec 12th, 2012 at 12:05 am

Marketing and branding took first and second in a measure of mass appeal. Not a surprise. Jesse still knows he built a cool bike, but there’s been an outfit that used a desmo donor for a trellis frame chopper before. Nice to see the shovel get some props even if for the wrong reasons. Sr should get a lot of credit regardless of the tech used.

  41. 41 Anthony Ervin Dec 12th, 2012 at 12:07 am

How did leave a comment what happened? Why because I told the truth. The producers at Discovery Channel already had Paul Junior winning again. And really, grease monkeys second place over senior and Jesse James… I don’t believe that would happen nowhere in the world, only on the discovery Channel. I know it won’t hurt your TV shows but I’m never watchin the Discovery Channel again. I don’t wanna hear nothing about Jesse James be in late when you’ll cheat.

  42. 42 Steve N Dec 12th, 2012 at 12:19 am

Cyril please get some more pictures of JJ bike up asap. Freaking thing should be at the AMD or mooneyes show and not on some TV build off. Not my style of bike but a ” Benchmark ” bike for sure.

  43. 43 o Jenny o Dec 12th, 2012 at 1:44 am

i would love to know who came in 3rd and 4th. does anyone know how i can find out?

  44. 44 Troy Dec 12th, 2012 at 2:49 am

I can’t believe this garbage is still on the tv . These gets 15 minutes of fame should of ended along time ago . It’s just a soap opera now . The only thing that I can say about this build off is that there’s only one bike that has a gas tank big enough to travel over fifty miles and that’s the fastnloud guys . The other bikes are just parade bikes .

  45. 45 Shemp Dec 12th, 2012 at 3:01 am

    ??????
Looking above, I see a Confederate Wraith, a Buell, a VW Kit Car, and one of Cole’s old bikes.

Where are the Build Off Bikes??
    Was I punked?

  46. 46 Geosm Dec 12th, 2012 at 7:35 am

First Anthony yes votes count .. That’s how it works when you vote.. Did you think when people voted for gas monkey they were going to just toss the under the rug because you don’t like them? Second David ,think what you want , there was no “fix” for Jr…but in your mind your one of those people who thing is fix cause it did’nt go the way you wanted. Well I have news ,Jesse lost on his own he built a bike that was small enough for my 4 year old. Plus missed 2 dead lines to do it! So what Jr. Builds bikes for people with their logo on it. That’s called having an idea then turning that idea into money or what some people call a job… He just got lucky and they made a T.V. Show . And if wasn’t for that show we would have never seen these bike they built and I for one am gonna miss watching Jr. And his crew even if I have to what his dad to.hahah. But jesse’s problem is he is too high for his own thrown.. Hi I’m Jesse James . I’m the god of bike building, by the way you should be honored to be in my shop…. Let me teach you some welding skills… For free…..

  47. 47 Geosm Dec 12th, 2012 at 7:53 am

Some people have no idea what a true chopper is.. It is a bike that has been chopped up.. Cut here , and custom pieces there. Change the rake .. Hints the word chopper ..The guys at gas mony built a TRUE chopper.. Just because the frame was not raw metal so many of you out in T.V. land is used to seeing and they didn’t buy all new stuff they still CHOP the bike and bulit it. I had a hard time choosing who to vote for.. I loved their biked no cables on the bars nice clean look .. It was just the pink paint… I just could not get past that =(

  48. 48 Kroozer1 Dec 12th, 2012 at 8:58 am

Somebody needs to get Jesse James a new set of glasses and a real mirror, not the funhouse mirror he must look into.He built a buell or a ducati, BFD. Done a hundred times. I have two I ride all the time. All these skills he brags about dont mean sh-t. Senior’s bike is really a lot of engineering work, so hats off to them. But Senior didnt design it, he is not smart enough. Jim and jason designed it, some one with brains. The fast and loud boys were out of the element, just a shameless plug of self promotion by the discovery channel. Why not have the Amish Mafia build a bike, they have a blacksmith at the village. And as far as junior’s bike is concerned, it is the most sellable out of all the bikes. Win or lose some one was going to buy that bike, and now that it won, it will be worth about
$ 250,000.00. With it’s long wheelbase and extreme rake in the front end, it is what choppers are morphing into, a big cruising machine. Jesse and Senior thought they were reinventing the wheel, which did no good, and the Fast and Loud Boys are about 20 years behind in their design. Junior built a unique custom cruiser, and it was different. So, he made the least mistakes and won. Jesse and Senior were down alot of votes before the contest started, Senior is an a -hole who put his steroid inflamed ego and money ahead of his family and Jesse James ego writes check his abilities cant cover. His personal life is constant fodder for the media, he cheats on one of the most beautiful woman
in america for some circus side show freak and the dumps her for some one else. This is not a contest about bikes, it is a popularity contest, and Jesse James could not get elected a dog catcher.

I would love to see biker build offs of old, the man his tools some parts and have at it. not have a team of 20 and fabricating the entire bike on a computer. gas monkey, love these guys but they’re not bike builders, they can restore the sh!7 out of something, but they didn’t need to be there. but them in a garage by them selves and give them 6 to 8 weeks and i’m sure that the only one that wouls ride out would be jesse. jr’s bikes are beautiful but not functional. to long and wide, you have to make turns like a tractor trailer. nice to look at on a stage or as a theme bike for mcdonalds. sr. needs to go back to his chopper designs. jesse also I miss your chopper designs jesse, but your bike is the clear winner. I didn’t see a whole team of people of computer generated parts made by you. you were a lil to dam cocky and pretty much an a hole but at the end of the day, your bike rocked.

It’s a reality show, enjoy it for what it is.a little fun.some laughs, ego’s,and some cool bike’s!! As for the build off, the winner in my opinion is fast and loud, they built a cool bobber bike(say what you will with what they used and road it to vagas!!)that you would want to ride down to the local tarvern, talk with your friends, throw back a few soda’s, and just enjoy!!! as for jesse james ( second place) I think the guys a great talent, but is a little putting off with his mouth, as for his bike I was’nt impressed, but then the sport bike’s not my style. (third place) jr. built a bike that he always does, a theme bike you can’t ride or would even want to!! as for sr. (fourth place) built something from a water jet machine, with a troop of people and millions of dollars of machinery just dose’nt fit the build?? (you wanna use your hands for the satisfaction)Don’t read so much into how the show was produced, just enjoy it, and get out and ride!!!!!

    Those Who Ride Will Know

Jesse said he was building a mix of sport bike (ducatti) and Harley (motor was V-twin, but not Harley). He said,”something no one else had done before”… REALLY?!?… Maybe he has never heard of Eric Buell? Or if you want a Big Twin sportbike try a Confederate. Both have been around for years. Another quote from Jesse “I made 99%”… HUH? The motor came straight from a crate (1%?). In the end he had to call in the experts (Baker) cuz he was in over his head…

Senior’s bike was kinda cool.. OMG on the $$$.. I liked watching the frame made..

Juniors bike? I like rat rod style, but Hey, would you ride that thing? (embarrassing) A car bike??? Arlen Ness did such a nice job on his ’57 Chevy bike…

Gas Monkey built the motor and a bike you could actually ride, Ol Skool… I would ride it…

Watcing the builds=cool. Pranks=lame (xcept Gas Monkey impersonation of OCC,haha). Vegas=lame. All in all I was entertained…

    I think I’ll keep my FXR…..

Surprised I actually watched the show. The outcome was predictable, Paul Jr. is the least Douchey of the group and did a decent build, so he wins. Sadly J. Just comes off a s a whiney little bitch who feels his skills are superior to all others. Well, they are not, and plenty of other skilled builders out there can attest to that. Hey, it is a show…. and that is how it goes.

of course jr was gonna win he has a creative eye hes a hell of a designer. everybody took there shots at the kid and he stayed humbled and ya jesse maybe the most mechanicaly inclined out of them he should of came with a chopper and left his bs with that bike at home. dame it was a biker build off on choppers!!!! jesse bike looked like something my kid would ride in the yard and sr front end look like shit! what the hell was that. sr needs to stop given that smart ass jason all the creative rights on those bikes. they get what they deserve stick too the roots!!!!! gas monkey had a revamped bike but hell it was clean and it was a chopper ya a bobber but still a chopper!!! pjd is untouchable id like to see him go against some of the other biker build off champs!!!!

I work nights so I justed watch it on demand and like last year boring. I didn’t even see any bikes being built 1 minute of hammering or grinding and 10 minutes of pranks and trash talk 2 hour episode probably 20 minutes of bike building. Each builder has talent no doubt about that but I don’t think they brought there best to the table. Jesse last years bike was alot better . Paul Sr. needs to design his own forget Jason. He should of built something like the MIA bike that style. Paul Jr bring something other than a theme bike we know your great designing theme bikes (cadillac bike awsome) but get away from the theme bikes for just that one. Gas Monkey looks like a restoration project not much fabrication that they showed us but all and all nice looking bike. Well that’s my opinion but even though it’s my opinion each one of them would slap the crap out of me in bike building so I ‘ll shut up now. LOL
