Vintage Reproduction Kicker Covers By S&S Cycle

Looking for an authentic Flathead kicker cover? Good luck. You may try to steal one from a factory museum bike (huh) or get one from S&S Cycle offering one as close as possible to the Harley original. Not only authentic to the smallest details outside but improved with new technology inside.

Even boss imperfections in the casting have been meticulously duplicated to represent the casting capabilities of the era. The inside of the cover is an all new design with additional material added around the kicker boss for strength and stability. A stealthy modern small diameter seal is hidden after assembly. No more outer dry bearing seizures!

S&S Cycle offers transmission cover kits for 1948 to 1950, 1940 to 1947 and 1940 to 1986 Big Twins.

Yay! The import covers had to much material inside near the push rod finger and restricted the back and forth movement of the release lever (arm).

That’s the knuckle & early Pan cover. Sounds like the y make the later pig-nose too. Splendid! 🙂

Great cover for restorations and From S&S I am sure it will fit correctly and be superior to original.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
