Looking for a new motorcycle under $10,000 with retro racing inspiration but modern engineering. The Moto Guzzi V7 Racer pays homage to the Café Racers of the 50s and 60s and offers a new and more powerful, 750cc, 90-degree V-Twin motor and new lightweight, six split spoke aluminum wheels, number plate, and solo saddle.
While maintaining the Italian manufacturer classic 90° V configuration, the engine is now comprised of more than 70% new components. Cutting-edge technological solutions have been used to improve functionality, provide greater torque and power even at low rpms, and be more efficient, with higher fuel economy and reduced emissions. Will be available in 2013 in U.S. dealerships. MSRP USA: $9,990.
All manufacturers going for at least one Cafe Racer inspired model.
And the problem would be…?
That’s a hell of a nice bike.
Less than 10K for this performance and look, it’s a bargain.
Love it.
I’m partial to the V7 stone…..in black!
Great production bike. Only Americans don’t like Italian bikes.
good looking bike
Bennett, you’re wrong. Ducati best market is the USA,
Wow, this is the way everybody should be leaning. The TV Show Cafe Racer has done wonderful things to trigger the interest in the Cafe Style Motorcycle. Cyril, you did a Blog about the OCC & History Channel making a difference in the influence if any, that it has on the Motorcycle Industry! Well, if many factories are building the Cafe style Bike than…….you have your answer. The Guzzi is a fine example and priced in line with what the Public wants. Besides, look what you can buy for 2 grand more then the single Cylinder 500 cc Hindu Bike.
Great price. Without riding it I KNOW this thing will go and stop. peace
I can see this bike (:-)
Very nice
Beautiful bike! Likely to be more pleasant to savor with a glass of wine in your garage than to ride. Now when Moto Guzzi decides to do something about the vibration through counterbalancing the motor or isolating it in the frame, then it will fulfill all the visual promise!
