Google does pretty much the same thing. Just Google a sku or part name. But, like everything else on the web, will the vendor be there tomorrow or provide support and service?

Hi Kevin. Just to clarify, Veebase doesn’t drop ship, it’s a price comparison engine. But, unlike Google Shopping, we also display store offers so riders can compare the best prices – plus any additional shipping offers, coupons, incentives and close-out deals etc.
I Have no issues with a informed customers and we learned how to deal with the Internet years ago at my counter and not seeing Internet installation or service anyhow. I have a match any current offer or 10% off next service deal for years that gives me a fighting chance and good repor with my customers
Not impressed so far… Spent several minutes on it.. everything I ‘found’ , had only a single source. That’s not comparison shopping , the last time i checked
So far, less than 20 vendors to ‘compare.’ One is Petco.com offering an “AKC Tan Plaid Orthopedic Dog Bed.” I wonder how much of this stuff is really going to be of use to a V-Twin enthusiast. Good concept, but maybe too early for a press release. My site has been live for two years and I haven’t done one of those yet because I don’t think it is complete enough yet.
I can’t do a search for Vrods. If I put in Vrod cams / pistons/ etc I get everything for all models. Am I doing something wrong ?
Doug, I tried broadening the search by just typing in “V Rod” . Came up with 13 hits, but most of those were for one brand of tuner, master cylinder caps for the early V Rods, & Clymer manuals. Can’t say as I’m surprised or that I’d have a use for this site.
Just searched for ape hangers and got some good results.
I tried a search on ‘v-rod’ and got back over 1000 results. Not bad.
Thanks all for the valuable feedback, folks! With 25 (currently) visible suppliers giving us just under 1,000,000 products daily, we don’t get everything right! We’ve taken on board the ‘vrod’ problem and will loosen our search criteria next minor release. Comparisons are there, over 15,000 of them in 92,000 products, ranging from 2-store to 6-store product comparisons. But, again, we have taken your thoughts on board and are already working with our suppliers to improve data quality so we can bring you the daily best buys.
