The all new Barnett “Low Profile” Lock-up Pressure Plate for 1998-13 Harley Davidson Big Twins (except 2013 CVO/SE) is specifically designed to fit under stock or aftermarket primary and derby covers and increases the capacity of your stock clutch while keeping lever effort to a minimum- even with big inch motors! It’s done by using stainless steel weighted arms that progressively increase pressure to the clutch as RPM’s increase.
Three different sets of six coil springs (light, medium, heavy) are included for a variety of spring pressure options. The coil spring design also provides smoother shifting and a more linear engagement compared to a diaphragm type spring. Installation is bolt on with no modifications required. Whether you’re looking for a lighter clutch effort for a stock Big Twin or serious no-slip performance for a big inch motor, the Barnett Low Profile Lock-up Pressure Plate has got you covered all in one attractive, precision machined unit! Cable actuated and hydraulic versions are available. Made in the USA.

Anyone want to explain why no slipper clutch for the Big Twins other than then VROD
mk..,
There is a very technical reason – namely: …it is not necessary… full stop.
This is a GREAT product, well conceived and, as with all Barnett products, extremely well engineered!
Will definately check it out
MK THE V ROD DOESNT HAVE A COMPENSATOR SPROCKET ON THE CRANK…ITS GEAR TO GEAR.THATS WHY IT USES A SLIPPER. .BIG TWINS USE A CHAIN AND HAVE A COMPENSATOR SPROCKET TO ABSORB SHOCK LOADING OF THE MOTOR TO TRANS…HENCE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE V ROD AND THE BIG TWIN.AND THESE LOCK UPS WORK! BELIEVE ME. WE HAVE A FEW LOW 10 SECOND STREET FXR’S USING THIS STYLE LOCK UP..NOW THEY FIT UNDER YOUR STOCK PRIMARY..BIG SAVINGS
