Jesse reminded me that it will be the 1st time in 5 years that West Coast Choppers is present in a motorcycle related event with a booth and several of his custom bikes on display.
The return of Jesse James on the show tour starts this weekend (April 19-20-21, 2013) in his hometown of Austin where he will have a booth at the Circuit Of Americas for the Austin MotoGP.
Among bikes on display, Jesse will show for the first time in public his build-off bike called “Ginsu ” featured here. Also, check out his new gear.
This weekend MotoGP™ is the premier motorcycle racing World Championship, an eighteen-race series visiting thirteen countries, four continents and with pan-global television coverage. Ten nationalities of the world’s most skilled riders line a grid armed with cutting-edge motorcycle technology with prototype machinery fielded by 3 manufacturers; Ducati, Yamaha and Honda. As well as the premier class there are also 2 ultra-competitive World Championship Grand Prix categories, which form part of ‘MotoGP™’. The Moto3™ (formerly 125cc) and Moto2™ (formerly 250cc) World Championships have their own races at each Grand Prix, meaning that by the end of the season 3 champions are crowned.
You can still buy tickets at Circuit Of Americas http://www.circuitoftheamericas.com/moto-gp (Children ages 12 and under are given a free general admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult) Directions at Circuit Of Americas Transportation .So, if you go, stop by the West Coast Choppers booth to say hi to Jesse and check out his latest creations.
So glad to hear Jesse is back into doing what made him famous. Look forward to seing the WCC booth at the event this weekend.
Texas has a helmet law for those under 21, and those that don’t have at least a state-minimum medical insurance policy, and those that don’t have a “helmet exempt sticker” on their bike. Sounds reasonable.
So, for those over 21, you’re basically exempt as 1969 when you could leave your bike parked in the front yard, and jump on it at will, just for a free-spin to get out in the wind.
That’s pretty cool.
So everyone can go and line up to kiss his ass… Hahaha
I’m a fan of his, most of the time but the bike featured looks exactly like what he was building the last time he was on tour, back what, in the mid 90’s? Time to turn the page on the calendar Jesse. Rigid frame choppers have been done to death. Innovation is key, not recycling the same old ideas.
Great. Unfortunately, I am in Washington.
Never went to a Moto GP race. I live 220 miles away. Just bought 2 tickets (not cheap) Will bring my son and will visit jesse’s booth to see what’s going on with WCC.
Welcome back on the road, Jesse.
Any new parts to be introduced?
Jesse. Will you setup in Sturgis?
I’m sure the race fans who go to the GP to watch the cutting-edge motorcycle technology will be very impressed with JJ’s bike. Maybe he will do a few laps and show the world’s most skilled riders how it’s done. ..Z
I hope he comes to laconia this year!
He’s still the best!
glad to see JJ is back out , choppers will be forever. i road raced for over 10 years, always had a chopper to ride because it was so different from the racebike.
yawn…..
Hey Jesse,
Hollister is back this year, just like you!
Be there!
Correction: west coast choppers was on beach street bike week 2009. That is four years.
LOL!! It’s funny to see the negative comments…. We see them as jealous remarks, plain and simple.
JJ could probably throw you under the bus on truly building a bike, ANY kind of bike. Whether a rigid, custom, period…
Oh, I especially love the guys who own websites who sell everyone else’s parts… YAWN!
Step up and build your parts by hand and show us what you got, otherwise just sit at the back of the bus.
Glad to see JJ back on the scene. Any positive news in our industry is good at this point. Especially from the guy who was solely responsible for all the chopper hype! 🙂
Love him or hate him, he is great for the custom motorcycle market.
say what
Didn’t he just get married to that Paul-Mitchell / Patron chick? Is he really “on tour” or just dropping by the event as it is only down the street from his shop.
I love Jessie James ..hope he makes it to Maryland….wooohooo
I see Jesse ‘s involvement as a big plus for the motorcycle industry
He’s always been a big draw and his name
Alone carries a lot of weight , hopefully we will
See more of him at places like Sturgis ,
And. Daytona ??? We welcome him and wish him much
Success !
“JUST LIKE HE BUILT IN THE NINETIES” YEAH RIGHT..ITS A TWIN CAM FOR ONE..AND IT HAS AN ALLUMINUM REAR TRELLISS SYSTEM TO SUPPORT THE REAR OF THE TRANSMISSION, AND A HAND BUILT STAINLESS FRAME..SOME PEOPLE DONT KNOW JACK AND THEY PROVE IT DAILY ON HERE…JJ IS A WELL RESPECTED BUILDER AND HIS PRESENCEAT ANY SHOW, EVENT, RACE TRACK, IS ALWAYS WELCOME…THE MORE EXPOSURE FOR MOTORCYCLES THE BETTER
I would not call it touring when it is right in your back yard. I agree with Eddie Trotta and when he gets to the core locations of the industry and shakes some hands and is more personable, it will reflect upon him much better.
He has to start his touring somewhere. GP Austin is the reason he starts there.
Welcome back Jesse you have been missed…..
How about show up to the last real rally……REDWOOD
Welcome Back, Jesse !!!!!
You have been missed !!!
Just keep in mind, not many people get 2nd chances, much less 3rd or 4th …….
keep it real & keep it centered !!!!
I’ll be at the race, and have always been a fan of Jesse. I’ll sure take this as a positive sign as we need all we can get. At least he’s out there with a presence. That’s good, despite the haters.
Good to see you back. Jesse is cool.
Rock on JJ
I sure would like it better without the risers.
Those drag bars should be mounted down on the head-set.
IMHO anyway.
-nicker-
Oh come on, this guy can’t even win a build-off against the those Tuettel clowns. He’s washed up and clinging to the last few seconds of his 15 minutes of fame.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_James_(customizer) :wiki says WCC is defunct.I feel a tad sorry for the guy. He’s run out of skin and new bike ideas. He looks old for his years and probably spends more cash on lawyers than bike parts. “A 1 CYCLES INC.”: JJ can detail bikes to death, but they all look virtually identical as if sprung from exactly the same frame jig.The grave robbing of chopper ideas from ’69 is not nothing new.Pee-wee’s Big Adventure “The story of a rebel and his bike”could be due for a remake with JJ in the lead role. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHGof5cIvCg? .Have a laugh.
