I recognize the rider’s boots on the left as a 1920’s “Wrap-A-Boot” model made by the Ace Bandage Co. in Fargo, N.D. ~ Bizarre, but easier to treadle a rocker clutch than the rider’s “snake boots” on the right. These are some cold shoes.
Imagine these two with wide smiles, if they wore Hi-Tec’s.
