New Harley-Davidson Compact Battery Charger Won’t Over-Charge

H-D-Compact-battery-TenderThe new Compact Battery Tender (P/N 66000038, $39.95) from Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Accessories® is stated to be superior to a traditional “trickle charger” because its circuitry cycles the charger on and off as needed and never over-charges the battery.

The 750mA charger includes a quick-disconnect output lead and 7.5 Amp fused charging harnesses equipped with ring connectors and alligator clips.

The charger is backed by a five-year manufacturer’s warranty. More info at Harley-Davidson’s Website

Cool, now I can get rid of my Battery Tender I’ve had for years and get one that’s officially from Harley for double the price. I can use it while my bikes parked in it’s inflatable bubble.

The other Tank Tender has the same circuitry inside. The only difference is that it is a 1 amp. DO NOT get rid of your old one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
