Hamsters USA Silent Auction To Benefit Children’s Care Rapid City Is August 5, 2013 In Spearfish During Sturgis Bike Week

HamsterSturgisHamsters USA, the group whose members share fun friendship around a common passion for custom motorcycles, has planned its yearly silent auction dinner for August 5, 2013 in Spearfish, SD. The Monday event is the single largest get-together of Hamsters during the year. The silent auction held that night is to benefit Children’s Care Hospital & School. Hamsters USA members from around the country work as a team to have the most amazing auction items donated, everything imaginable, not only fine custom motorcycle parts but also art, fine wine, wonderful cigars, great clothing, electronics, unique musical instruments, jewelry, and even furniture! In 2012, the cumulative amount raised during this yearly fund-raising event reached 1.5 million.

I am so proud to be a part of this amazing event. The first year I went to the auction they raise over 300K and last year we raise almost 300K. I was honored to become a Hamster last year, and now I see all the charitable events we do all over the world.

Congrats Hammies. Proof positive that its not about what you get from being a part of the motorcycle industry, but what you give being a part of the motorcycle industry. The rally and the state of South Dakota thank you for your efforts. Please let us know if there is an opportunity to donate additional auction items in support of the charities.
