Feel The Power Of The S&S T124 Engine. S&S Cycle Demo Days At The Sturgis Dragway.

SSDragwaySST124In honor of the S&S T124 engine’s 10-year anniversary, S&S Cycle is holding T124 Demo Days at the Sturgis Dragway. For 2 days only, Tuesday & Wednesday August 6th & 7th, you are invited to “give ‘er the gas” from a rolling start down the Sturgis eighth mile drag strip. You’d better be ready to hold on!

S&S T124 engine Demo Days is open to licensed drivers 21 years of age or older, and riders must have their own safety equipment (helmets, jackets, boots, gloves and eye protection.)

Needless to say that anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate, and S&S reserves the right to deny access to anyone in the interest of safety. Of course, to keep the lawyers happy, riders will be required to sign a liability waiver, the usual drill for anything fun.

You can pre-sign the waiver by downloading it from www.sscycle.com/demo-days. So come on out to the Sturgis Dragway August 6th and 7th for S&S T124 Demo Days (10 a.m. to noon) and feel the power! Visit: S&S Cycle Demo Days for more info and other happenings at Sturgis Dragway

BOBS….A BONES TOCK ONE WITH A SET OF “COOL PIPES” (NOT A 2 INTO 1) AND AN S&S AIR CLEANER MAKES 133 HP ON MY DYNO..YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY..BUT ITS A VERY HEALTHY ENGINE.

Caution readers to know what to expect.
    Have a custom sotail TC.
    Three engine builds so far.
    Had to have “more”.
    Bike started as and 88
Built a 114,revolution performance cyliders, 585 cam baisley heads roller rockers, daytona ignition.
Bike ran well,120 horsepower. Then the “Big Mistake a stroker.
New 131 has all the good stuff B Wood cam, lifters and springs. Zippers D carb with thunderjets, 12 to 1 compression, bandit clutch, eleminated engine balancers. Fueling oil system and back
to Baisley for more head porting, bigger valves and angling rockers for 650. cams.More was too much.
Bike now costs $30.00 to fill eight buck gas.

Should have stayed at 114 it was enough.

I rode a Road King with a T124 to Sturgis last year doing 80-85 mph on the freeway and made 37 mpg average w/ 91 octane fuel.

$8 gas! Holy smokes. I’ll quit complaining about the $3.65 i paid this morning.
