Sturgis Biker Belles Event. Jessi Combs Building Custom Harley To Be Auctioned For Local Charities

jessicombsThe Biker Belles event, known as the Sturgis preeminent celebration of women in motorcycling has joined forces with moto-celebrity Jessi Combs of “All Girls Garage” and “Overhaulin’”tv shows to create a custom based on a Harley Davidson Slim model generously donated by Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson.

The 5th annual Biker Belles Celebration, a day of Real Women, of Real Stories, and of Real Fun will be held Tuesday August 6t.. The event raises funds for local charities empowering and encouraging girls and women through the community of motorcycling and is also helping Horsepower® and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum. This year, tickets for this fun day with friends are sold at a discount to further increase rider participation. The ticket contribution is $45 per person with 100% going directly to the chosen charities. This ride is open to all men, women, riders who support women in motorcycling. The day begins at the Lodge at Deadwood with an inspiring symposium of leading industry women, including Shelly Rossmeyer (co-owner of Bruce Rossmeyere’s Harley Davidson at Destination Daytona), Cris Sommer-Simmons (Motorcycle Hall of Famer), Vicky Sanfilipo (safety advocate), and celebrity rider Kristy Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) among others,.  A beautiful ride through the canyons of the Black Hills follows, leading to a special catered reception and a fashion show featuring Harley Davidson Motorclothes® and auction at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.

The Harley Softtail will be customized by Jessi with the support of industry donors including, Avon Tyres, Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley Davidson, Klockwerks Kustoms, Legend Air Suspension, LGE&CTS, Magnaflow, PPG Paint and Ride Wright Wheels.  This one of a kind Biker Belles Bike will be auctioned for charity during the special rider’s reception at the Russ Brown Event Center at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on August 6th.  The live auction is open to the public. The transformative work will be featured on two episodes of All Girls Garage scheduled to air on Velocity TV August 24th and September 7th with the last episode being filmed on site and at the Buffalo Chip.

    I miss jessi combs from extreme 4X4 she was easier to listen to than that blob they have on there now. She made Ian tolerable. cool.

    And I will be photographing EVERYONE! Well almost everyone..I wont be photographing Rodent LOL
    This is a good event and though it and some of the others like it that are organized rides that help specific organizations may not be for everyone.
    Go to Sturgis and participate in any and all the things that give you pleasure.
    Oh and if you see me have me take your photo!!!!

    I like the show , I wish I could be there I have so much to show I have a lot of skills and I need to be discover , some people that has been in the show are awful tattoo artists

    I think if they had that opportunity that s what I need but just a miracle will make that happen ,I been tattooing for only 2 yrs and I think I’m way better than the people competing ..tks for your time if you ever read this

    @ Breyner Alarcon I wish the same for me on being discovered.I can take bikes that people have given up on and get them running again, have my painter work magic on the sheet metal with awesome paint and maybe some gold leaf, add a nicer seat and some chrome for the eye.
    Trikes that are not run of the mill and here again a special paint job, custom seat and matching wheels and chromed nicely.
    I even applied for the chance to work with Paul Sr. and never heard back from the producers, I guess they don’t want a female who knows how to work on bikes.
