I see a Patrick Racing 113ci engine in one of these bikes. It no longer appears that Patrick Racing Engines has a website anymore. Did they go out of biz? What’s the story?

I can see why it is dying.I have seen better looking motorcycles in a motorcycle / 18 wheeler accident. How far do you think you could ride one of those bikes. Maybe 100 yards

Its disappointing some people have to post negative comments just to give their lives some perceived value.

LA Calendar Bike Show winner Sam Baldi’s beautiful Nigel Patrick power custom “Fallen Angel” also won Best of Show earlier this year at the National Roadster Show in Pomona, and at the AMD World Championship round at Holister earlier this month.

Ron Baldonado / Rock Bottom Customs’ Full Custom Board Track Replica H-D Flathead was hand built by Ron from the ground up including the frame, front sprung forks and a unique 2-section fuel tank that also holds the oil for the dry sump system.

This year’s Show judges included editor David Edwards of Cycle World and Bike Craft magazine fame, and 7-time Calendar Show and AMD World Championship winner Jim Giuffra / AFT Customs, MotoGP and AMA Superbike mechanic and tuner Chris Redpath / MotoGPweks, and myself who has seen and photographed ever significant custom and race bike in World in the last 40 years for the FastDates.com Calendars and every major motorcycle magazine.

The LA Calendar Motorcycle Show is the last surviving independently produced Streetbike event on the West Coast. All other events are run by dealers, product companies, cities or casinos who can afford to put on a free ride-to destination in a parking lot becuase they make their money off new bike sales, or hotel rooms, restaurants and gambling.

In 22 years the Calendar Show and the FastDates.com Calendars, and my magazine bike features have helped launch the careers of Jesse James, Roland Sands, Russell Mitchell, Shinya Kimura and many other celebrity builders.

I am proud to count as my friends the many builders and companies who continue to recognize the value and importance of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show for our sport, and who have continued to support it all these years. Thanks guys!
