These run about $350. with the pad (all items sold separately), and the good thing is the docking hardware consist of washers and off-set spacers that attach through the rear fender strut screws. Removable, leaving only the docking hardware (spacers) in place.
Nice having no-holes to drill in the top of the strut.
Great concept, but am I the only one that thinks they are still really ugly?
True, there not cute. But an extra helmet can be chin-strapped to air-wing two-up luggage rack – and turn the motorcycle into a date-ride. And a very effective one at that. No?
For sure, yes my friends.
With the luggage rack it’s $600 bucks, too rich for my blood.
IS IT MADE IN USA ?
(yawn) – These all-too-frequent H-D press releases on inane junk just prove that they have nothing new to offer and are reaping profits from the brainwashed “fans”. H-D is more of a marketing company than a motorcycle company. Eh, to each his own, I guess.
The black one looks like my folding camp chair.
The airfoil LED is a good idea, when fitted to the edge of the rack. But this idea is a waste of time and money, what ARE the designers at HD thinking of??
You put the rack and sissy bar on for a bit of two-up riding/touring, which means putting luggage on the rack right? But putting luggage on the rack completely obscures the LED!!!
Bring back the rack edge version, at least this can be seen!!!!!!!!!!!!
