1- 2- Last Tuesday night, small talk with Jesse James. Told me that at his new parts and clothing display at the Full Throttle, he was mobbed by picture and autograph seekers. I went and saw that, love him or hate him, he is still (of course, not a surprise for me) one of the most popular and sought after personalities of the motorcycle industry. Jesse Mania all over again! 3- Very cool BSA at Michael Lichter’s exhibition at the Buffalo Chip. 4- Mike Wolfe from “American Picker” touring the tv and radio stations as spokesperson for Indian. 5- Indian Motorcycle advertising team running in trio all over Sturgis, but finding time for me to shoot a souvenir picture: Rob Hagemann with Nicole Pomerleau and Nat Jungerberg.. 6- Sturgis Mayor Mark Carstensen, a very happy man while must haveoverlooking Main Street 7- Lakota art. 8- Michael Lichter’s “Man-Eater” Cafe Racer photography. 9 – David Uhl’s “New Face At The Ace” painting. 10- Norton for sure! 11- Famous Rapid City “Fire House”restaurant and store. 12- “American Dream”. They came from Germany, then rode from Florida to Sturgis. 13- Buffalo Chip “Mayor Of Fun” Bean’re, Certified Personal Trainer Betsy Huelskamp, Cyril Huze, David Uhl at “Legends Charity Ride” in Deadwood. 14- The new “must-have” male biker tee-shirt to wear while riding 15- Rendez-Vous point at Buffalo Chip east entrance. 16- Bean’re again getting some love… 17- A little bit drunk backstage, thanks to Toby Keith shots of Mezcla to celebrate with media members his biz association with Brass Ball Bobbers. Jesse is back. Billy is almost back. Great news. Looking good Cyril and thank you for your great reports.
Great pics. Will be there in 2014 after 5 years of skipping Sturgis.
Great pica of BSA and Norton.
Welcome back Jesse. Not in Sturgis. When can we see your new CFL frame?
Heard from a friend in Sturgis that JJ is selling loads of tee shirts1
If he would be setup on Lazelle, would sell much more and would need 2 police officers to control the crowd.
Bean’re is everywhere to have his mug taken by Cyril!
Looking at the Norton & BSA makes me think that JJ should work on English bikes. Give them a try.
has jesse spent as much time developing his autograph as he has building a bike or 2?
1- 2 sosdd. 8-9 way cool. ..Z
Betsy and Bean’re…two of my favorite down to earth people.
Numbers were up for sure,BC was filled to the back fence.Campgrounds on 90 were noticeably filled .Thank you for all your hard work keeping us up to date!I missed out on the new t shirt, maybe next year.
Welcome back, Jesse
All great stuff and cool pics. Thanks Cyril. Two negative thoughts: Mike Wolfe the picker is the phoniest cat I’ve ever met (yes, I’ve had the displeasure of meeting him). Any grown man who wants his coconut autographed (WTF) by Jesse James should be bit ch slapped.
Cyril, was Toby 3 sheets into the wind in that photo?
Thanks for the update(s) !!!!
Looks like it was a blast this year with so many people and personalities.
But can’t help but wax nostalgic about the “down” years
where there might not have been as much $$ being made
but you weren’t elbows to assholes with the crowd & there was room to ride
In the end isn’t that what it all suppose to be about anyway ???
Great time by all, this was one of the best Sturgis Rallies in many years! Nice to see you Cyril.
met jesse james at the airport and the guy was laid back and approachable and took the time to go through some pics in my computer .Thought that was pretty cool im sure he gets crazies tying to show him stuff all the time
