New S&S Cycle 3-Piece Flywheel Assemblies. Because You’ve Got To Be Strong To Go Fast…

flywheel1S&SBlueWhiteLogoS&S Cycle just announced the release of a new series of high performance and replacement flywheel assemblies for 1999 and later Harley-Davidson Big Twins and S&S T-Series engines.

These new 3-piece flywheels feature mainshafts that are integrated into the flywheel forgings (eliminating two potential points of weakness) and larger 1.671” diameter crankpin. Although this design may appear similar to stock, the end product is much stronger due to superior materials (Heat-treated 4140 material is harder and 114% stronger than stock), updated production techniques and patent pending new designs.

Assembled and ready to install in 1999-later Harley-DavidsonÆ engines and S&S 4-1/8î bore engines. More info at S&S Cycle Flywheels

Now about the same kind of unit for late XL’s with the weak and tiny crankpin? That would be the Business!

A great product eminently suited to todays high horsepower engines.

I must admit, I didn’t a stock crank that strong… not to mention that S & S was twice as strong.
    Very impressive.

Pardon my keyboard stuttering, I meant to say I didn’t realize a stock crank assembly was that strong.
