Polaris To Launch Indian Chief 3 Models In India First Quarter Of 2014. The launch is confirmed by Pankaj Dubey who is the Managing Director of Polaris India. Like many other brands- Triumph being the most recent one –  Indian Motorcycle will be exploring the domestic market for what is considered in India very high end performance motorcycles

Toronto Ponders Ending Free Parking For Motorcycles. The city transportation staff has recommended ending free parking at meters and machines, a perk motorcyclists and scooter riders have enjoyed since 2005. The city calculated that it can make up $250,000 annually by charging motorcycles and scooters parking fees. Eight years ago, council enacted the parking fee exemption after complaints that motorcyclists were being dinged for tickets after pay-and-display receipts were stolen or had blown away. City council also granted the exemption to encourage motorcycle use over cars “to alleviate congestion, to make more efficient use of the public right-of-way, and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation,” according to the report.

Ducati America Announced The Launch Of Its Retail Financing Program For New And Used Ducati Motorcycles In The US. Supported by VW Credit, Inc. (VCI), a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group of America Inc., the newly established Ducati Financial Services (DFS) began operation on September 5, 2013. The selection of financial services includes customer financing through Ducati dealers across the US. In addition, DFS will also offer ancillary products for new and used motorcycles, including the Ever Red Motorcycle Protection Plan, Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) plan, and Road Hazard Tire and Wheel Protection plans. The United States is Ducati’s largest market, with 9,258 units retailed in 2012. Now, supported by VW Credit, Inc., which provides financial products and services to Volkswagen dealers, Audi dealers and their customers in the United States, Ducati will benefit from the vast experience of VW Credit in the automotive finance business.

Harley-Davidson, Inc. Will release Its Third-Quarter 2013 Financial Results Before Market Hours October 22, 2013. The public is invited to attend an audio webcast with Keith Wandell, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and John Olin, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Harley-Davidson, Inc. from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Central Time). A downloadable slide presentation will also be available as support to the webcast. Jon Radermacher Was Elected President of the Board Of Directors Of The Antique Motorcycle Foundation. He succeeds Dennis Craig who retired after three years at the helm of the Foundation and who will continue on the Board as a Director. Radermacher, who was elected to the Board in 2012, is chair of the Media Arts Department at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He previously served on the Board of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club of North America and he has owned vintage motorcycles for more than 17 years. The Antique Motorcycle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation. Its mission is to support the collection and preservation of antique motorcycles and motorcycle history, and to tell the story of antique motorcycling to the public at large.

    Park one motorcycle at each meter along the busiest shopping street in Toronto every day and see how long that will last.

    Their Monster and Diavel bikes are nice and have a “feel” unlike any other. Most people that look down on them have never tried one.
