monkey1monkey4monkey3monkey2In each episode of “Fast N’ Loud”, the duo Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufnman of Gas Monkey Garage search for the far flung corners of Texas and surrounding states for forgotten derelict classic cars to buy and restore. But sometimes they re-build a bike, like this 1997 Harley Sportster Evo 1200, now raffled off to raise money for the Sons Of The Flag,  a nonprofit organization committed to supporting military, first responder,s and civilian burn survivors by providing funding for innovative research.

The Sportster features: • Phil Little Racing Body/Tank/Seat kit • Rad MFG Custom made wheels • Dunlop Tires • Custom Cut Sprocket & Brake Rotors • Ohlins S36PL Rear shocks • Buell X-1 Front Forks • Renthal Bars • Mikuni Card • Crane Electronic ignition • Super Trapp Exhaust.

The Sons of the Flag “Fight-Burns” organization is raffling the bike off for $5 per ticket, or $20 for 5 tickets or $100 for 35 tickets.  The drawing will take place March 31, 2014 at the Secret Service Dallas Charity Golf Tournament. To participate go to:  Sons Of The Flag

    I really like overall look. The gold is unique, and I think it almost needs a bit more…maybe an insert for the air cleaner, the pipe heat sheild, and the cover/headlight area.

    It really does look like it would be nimble and a blast to ride though.

    MMA.
    Bike is a street tracker made to resemble a ” flat track ” racer. Front light is a number plate and heat shield is typical flat track heat shield

    They’ve actually painted the Sons of the Flag logos on the heat shield and headlight plate.

    It looks really nice. When I read the title I figured it would be some cobbled together pile. But I was surprised to see a bike that I would like to own.

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like the front exhaust pipe wraps around the oil filter. Wouldn’t that cause some heating issues with the oil?

    Or am I looking at the alternator?

    Ant scooter that looks like it could be backed into the cushion and come out on the rear wheel it cool,
