Daytona Bike Week. Allstate Insurance Just Unveiled A New Custom Motorcycle By Rick Fairless. And You Can Win It!

Sweeps1sweeps2Sweeps3This morning Friday, March 7, Allstate Insurance Company and motorcycle builder Rick Fairless unveiled to the crowds at Daytona Bike Week a new custom creation named “Sweeps”, a re-imagined Victory Vegas 8-Ball. This custom-built motorcycle is part of this year’s grand prize for the Allstate Motorcycle Sweepstakes and feature interesting design ideas by Rick Fairless. This is the fifth year of the Allstate Motorcycle Sweepstakes and the first year that a Fairless custom is featured as the grand prize. “When Allstate asked me to build this year’s bike, they asked for one that really fit the image of its riders. I knew I had to push the limits a little with this bike because they insure so many different kinds of folks,” Fairless said. “We ended up with a bike that is really turning some heads. This ain’t a bolt-on custom.”

Sweeps4Fairless is on hand to help debut the new custom machine at the Allstate Rider Protection Zone, which is located at Daytona Speedway. Riders in attendance will have the opportunity to see the bike in person, learn more about how the Allstate Victory Vegas 8-Ball came to be from Fairless himself, enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win the motorcycle, as well as see some of the other custom bikes Allstate owns, including 2 by Arlen Ness and Dave Perewitz.

Participants can enter the Allstate Vegas 8-Ball through February 28, 2015, online at Allstate Motorcycle Sweepstakes or at the Allstate Rider Protection Zone which visits select rallies across the country (see above). The winner will be announced in March 2015.In addition to winning the motorcycle, Allstate will give the winner a trip for two to Rick Fairless’ Strokers Dallas for a free custom paint job consultation, personalized by Fairless himself.

“We’re confident that the winner of this year’s Allstate Motorcycle Sweepstakes is not only going to love their new ride,” said Pam Hollander, senior director of marketing for Allstate Insurance Company, “but they’re also going to love the whole Allstate experience.” Following today’s unveiling, the Allstate Victory Vegas 8-Ball, along with Allstate’s other custom creations, will be on display in 2014 at the Allstate Rider Protection Zone at the following motorcycle rallies:

    Good bike.Rick’s all class.

I can do without the chicken wire and the club bike look for guys that are not in clubs.

Rick’s more sixties than the sixties, and more David Crosby, than Crosby on National Crosby Day.

  3. 3 Devil's Plaything Mar 7th, 2014 at 11:13 am

Love it and would love to win it!

All the best to those who get to spend some time in Florida.

Hey I just realized that the mesh on the motor just might keep grasshoppers from mashing in between the fins and creating that sickening stench. p.s. don’t move to Canada, especially Saskatchewan!

  21. 21 OLD GREY BEARD Mar 7th, 2014 at 5:49 pm

GAD ZOOKS !!! Anyone remember the cheesy dress up chrome covers for Honda CB 750’s back in the 70’s? The covers rank about the same in my books. Rick musta had an acid trip flashback…

  22. 22 Tom Ryan Mar 7th, 2014 at 5:49 pm

The bike looks pretty good. However I’m not too sure about the Kim Kardashian style of (rear) fender.

  23. 23 Midnight Mar 7th, 2014 at 11:56 pm

First Victory I’ve seen that I’ve liked (maybe it’s b/c the engine’s covered up).

  24. 24 James just another crazy Kiwi Mar 8th, 2014 at 1:28 am

Nothing wrong with Flash-backs, they remind you of how you got to where you were………

Chicken wire is to stop ferrets and stoats……which are known predator’s of Hamsters….lol

Motor looks good all covered up like a middle eastern pornstar.

    bike is Cool

To seeing it in the world

  27. 27 Blackmax Mar 8th, 2014 at 9:21 am

Looks like a damn fine job and knowing Rick, it runs like a scalded dog !!!
A change of pace is good for a man
So it’s not Tie-dye & it is Black
Thumbs Up form me, Great Job, Rick

  28. 28 HD Rider Mar 8th, 2014 at 9:55 am

Hope they offer cash in lieu of the bike as a prize.

  29. 29 Boss Hawg Mar 8th, 2014 at 10:37 am

Bike looks great and should be inexpensive to operate/maintain. It should perform nicely too since it’s all matched up for functionality and not an over-sized over-emphasized boom box. Look forward to seeing it and the others at the Allstate Rider Protection Zone.

Since some of you here do not like Rick’s appearance nor his build, maybe you go play with your pencils looking at live porn @ Lollipop’s!

A turd in a tuxedo is still a turd.

  31. 31 Johnny Wolf Mar 8th, 2014 at 12:52 pm

Chicken wire, mesh or whatever you want to call it? Really? If any other builder, or shade tree mechanic hillbilly did this, ya’ll would be up in arms about how ridiculous it looks.

I don’t care who threw parts at this thing, it’s freakin’ hideous.

  32. 32 Martin@Bagger Mar 8th, 2014 at 6:08 pm

    Man this thing is ugly…
Doesn’t do any good for Fairless, Allstate or the poor guy who will eventually win it. From the chicken wire (is this really an aftermarket part?) to the front wheel, there is nothing nice on this bike. Given that the base is not fantastic to work with either.

  33. 33 courtney Mar 9th, 2014 at 12:02 am

The rear fender on my Crossbones looks better than that one….

  34. 34 Ronnie Mar 9th, 2014 at 1:37 pm

Sorry. Proportions, rake are wrong. Consequently, riding position is also wrong.

  35. 35 paparay Mar 9th, 2014 at 1:48 pm

Courtney’s you read my mind my p.m. Performance machine rear fender would look good on that bike looks good on my crossbones

  36. 36 Terence Tory Mar 9th, 2014 at 10:38 pm

Ronnie. The proportions and riding position are just fine for guys who ride past big store windows at night looking at themselves.or for it being parked in an office lobby.

  37. 37 Northeast Beast Mar 10th, 2014 at 11:16 pm

Wow! I know Rick can do better than this! Everyone’s a critic though. I personally wouldn’t ride it. But, I guess there’s an ass for every seat. Good thing their giving it away. Probably see it for sale on ebay in the near future.

    The Beast

  38. 38 BobS Mar 11th, 2014 at 8:13 am

Eh, haters gotta hate. Do the exact same thing to a Dyna and watch how quickly some change their tune. I see some originallity…well it is RF even if it’s black…I may not love all of it but I do love some of it. I also see more than a pretty face. I see a Torque Tube intake and what looks like a Bassani 2-1 header with a custom muffler. If that thing has the cams to go with it that’s a 120 hp screamer. Horsepower is like alcohol, the more you have the better looking she gets!

  39. 39 1550tc Mar 11th, 2014 at 6:21 pm

Rick you gotta have your converse sneakers on :), its just not you with your cons on !!

  40. 40 Mack Mar 12th, 2014 at 11:12 pm

    Cool scoot Rick……garbage wagons
With a tv ,cup holder and 30 ” wheel Seem to b the popular item around here
I wouldn’t take the neg comments too seriously ,
I kinda like the mesh look …it’s different …which is MUCH NEEDED
Plus the dam thing just looks fast..
    Peace out,,,
