Baby Cafe Racer.

AVA1AVA2Call it the baby Cafe Racer. A 250 cc OHC single stroke 4 stroke air cooled engine coupled to a 5-speed tranny to help you zoom through traffic.

Short (1255 mm wheelbase for 1910 mm overall length), low and very light, featuring both electric and kick start, it may seduce those living in big cities and who are tired of the bulk.

Launched with the slogan “live somewhere between shameless and reckless” (really?), the Swift 250 may also be the first “rebel” motorcycle of our youngsters. Price TBA. Looking for distribution. AVA Velocity Works.

    The last thing we want is reckless as part of a cycle slogan.

    Yes, I get what they are trying to convey but were not talking jeans here. If were, you might show the gal with a guy snugged up next to her. But were talking two wheeled machines that if driven recklessly will kill or damage you.

    With the political storms in distant lands. Gas prices could reach $10.00 per gallon FAST.
    I want one or a nice VESPA, I spoke to one of my dealers in Texas, AF1 Racing, they have a great selection there.

    In the early 60’s you could get a tank shift, foot clutch WR for almost nothing.
    Those who knew their way around a scooter preferred cafe racers.

    305 Super Hawks were OK,
    but insanely high revving Italian bikes were way cool…. 🙂
