Vintage Front End Makeover For Your Evo Sportster 1991-Up

bombshell1Inspired by the style adopted by many during the golden age of the European Bobbers and Choppers, these front end kits, long or short, are an easy way to turn your modern Evo Sportster or new-built from the ground up bobber or chopper into a vintage looking bike.

They fit 39 mm fork tubes and will work with a 16” front wheel. The “Bombshell Fork Long” version includes the triple tree with steering column and the fork boots in a single piece. Offered in maximum length of 17 5/16”. The “Bombshell Fork Short” includes neck hardware and steering stops and can be installed with aftermarket or OEM type Forty-Eight fork-boots (not included). Offered in maximum length of 10,5/8”.

    This is the first aftermarket piece I’ve seen in quite a while that I would actually use. No flames, skulls, or tribal crap – just a nice clean look.

    If you’re going to spend that kind of cha-ching on a sporster, why not just go with a wide glide front end? As far as I’m concerned, the only narrow glide front end should be a girder or a springer. I guess different strokes for different folks?

    I agree with Knick. Sounds like an old guy like me(60). Even with a springer I prefer the wide variety such as the wide Paughco.

    Maybe because wideglides on Sportsters don’t look right. Personally, I agree with 18bravo and think it’s a good looking part.
