Inspired by the style adopted by many during the golden age of the European Bobbers and Choppers, these front end kits, long or short, are an easy way to turn your modern Evo Sportster or new-built from the ground up bobber or chopper into a vintage looking bike.
They fit 39 mm fork tubes and will work with a 16” front wheel. The “Bombshell Fork Long” version includes the triple tree with steering column and the fork boots in a single piece. Offered in maximum length of 17 5/16”. The “Bombshell Fork Short” includes neck hardware and steering stops and can be installed with aftermarket or OEM type Forty-Eight fork-boots (not included). Offered in maximum length of 10,5/8”.
Manufactured in die cast aluminum with CNC machining with dimensions and tolerances identical to the Harley OEM parts. You can choose your finish, Raw, Semi-polished, Black or Black Cut. At EMD USA (Esteves Motorcycle Design)
This is the first aftermarket piece I’ve seen in quite a while that I would actually use. No flames, skulls, or tribal crap – just a nice clean look.
Very kewl looking.
Something different. Yippie.
Looks fantastic in that raw finish. Very cool piece
This looks like a great mod. Perfect if your looking to black out your Sportster.
Nice “unseen” part.
Nice stuff!
If you’re going to spend that kind of cha-ching on a sporster, why not just go with a wide glide front end? As far as I’m concerned, the only narrow glide front end should be a girder or a springer. I guess different strokes for different folks?
I agree with Knick. Sounds like an old guy like me(60). Even with a springer I prefer the wide variety such as the wide Paughco.
Maybe because wideglides on Sportsters don’t look right. Personally, I agree with 18bravo and think it’s a good looking part.
