A beautiful short movie directed by Giorgio Oppici for Roberto Rossi, an official Harley-Davidson dealer in Mantova, Italy (Established 1995). Music by Boats (Swept Away) Rider: Alessandro Vigano. A must watch.

the myth is a lot easier to get lost in if there’s a nice house to come home to at the end of the day. buying snacks day after day at mcd’s or bk’s just to have a place to sit down besides the ground or one’s bike gets old after a while. (as beautiful as the ca coast is.)
Who drinks room temp espresso ? Wasn’t even steaming in pot! Ugh!
Yea… I’d say that it’s more fun to have a destination or a round-trip.
Recharged though. Nice piece.
Sportster’s have really held their own haven’t they. “Since 1957” is what’s embroidered on the tailpiece of the 2-up seat.
Everyone that hoped Roberto would avoid running through that mud puddle with both tires raise your hand. 🙂
And speaking of road trips….is Don Emde still riding the Cannonball Express? Anybody check in with him lately?
Did that Indian make the haul? Update!
Good video, but jeez man, get a KLR for your offroad.
FYI The band is actually I Am Not Left Handed song is Boats (swept away). (damn music snobs)
The real world of motorcycling……
dirt roads, mud puddles and all…..
only “gets old” when your too old.
-nicker-
Not enough bandannas, not enough wraparound shades, not enough wannabe biker assholes, not nearly enough 30″ front wheels. Otherwise acceptable.
Zachly why I love my knobby tired, low geared, amply sprung, nasty 883 Sporty. Aptly named “Bitchslap.” Dirt roads lead to great places world wide. Too much fun.
DIDNT KNOW ITALY HAD HIPSTERS ALSO? WEIRD
Very nice video. I started my own day sitting next to a camp fire back on our property, and then went for a very early morning ride in the country. Motorcycling on back country gravel roads…what’s not to like. 🙂
A1Mike. Most fashion trends start in Europe. Italy & France lead.
Take me there! Next trip, Amalfi Coast on a Ducati…no destination, just a road map–not even a GPS–and a backpack. I may never come home.
Terrific. There have been many, many Sunday mornings start just this way for me (minus the cold coffee and riding AROUND the puddles). Will watch this again and again.
Ahhhh….what a great piece! The excellent cinematography and close ups add feeling and emotion to the beauty of the scenery. Looks like an off-road version of California’s Big Sur…with an Italian accent! It’s all good….on two wheels! Easy to visualize your own version of heaven to ride….but better to just relax and enjoy the ride. Bravo….well done!
Ecco ! Va bene ! Atsa da nice a video . The music ? Ehhh … not a so much ! Da bike ? Bellissimo ! Riding a thru a da pot a holes ? Not a so smart . Eh … itsa make a for the nice a video effect .. but a not a so smart . Does it a make a me want to ride ? Ehh … maybe no [ an ADV would of been the better choice ] Does it make a me wanna go back and a spend a some a time with a da family ? Oh … yeah … datta salumi alone makes a me wanna go back a for the visit !
BTW – Rodent – Thats a Moka pot not an espresso one . And more often than not one needs to allow the pot to cool down a bit before drinking [ drinking a steaming hot espresso or a Moka is counterproductive .. masking much of the flavor with too much heat ] So room temperature ? Doubtful . More like the right temperature seeing as how we Italians invented the Espresso/Moka thing and therefore doubtful this signore is doing it wrong
I have the same coffee maker that I found at a yard sale. FYI, its not an Espresso maker. Nice vid.

May be the Sonoma Coma, but I think the fellow prepared this cuppa’ with a Turkish press w/ cup-slit for a hearty send-off.
+Plus! Modern Sportster horns are as loud as a ’55 Chevy.
Extremely KOOL (:-)
Sonoma Coma ? Huh ? N.California lingo for a badly pulled espresso or the dreck one gets at Starburnts perhaps ? I’m so confused . Lol . But no. Thats a Moka the man is using . What we Italians use at home . Preferring to go out for our afternoon espresso .e.g. We don’t own no espresso machines ! 😉
But, lets face it, we’ll never get Moka over here in the 48.
But, you can buy Starbucks’s dark-roast Italian, micro-brew sticks…. 50-count of them for 63¢ (shipped). You compare. It will “stop” you. Add 3-tspns. of sugar-free Capp. (1-lb. can from Smart & Final)… then whatta ya’ got?…. prison coca-cheena. 🙂
Buy (2) 50-count before fungus changes the price.
