The American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has signed its 300th exhibitor for its 2014 event with Gibbs Sports Amphibians. As a result, AIMExpo is setting a fast pace to exceed the mark of nearly 400 exhibitors from the event’s launch last October. The second year event will be held October 16-19 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Gibbs is one of several exhibitors increasing its presence both indoors and outdoors while introducing new models at AIMExpo. A larger space inside OCCC allows for greater interaction with dealers, members of the media, and consumers.
With such a large contingent of exhibitors enlisted, and more being added the AIMExpo continues to cement its place within the powersports marketplace. In other news, the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has been officially endorsed by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) The prestigious honor indicates that the AMA recognizes AIMExpo as a premier motorcycle trade and consumer event in North America. As a result, the first ever AMA National Convention will take place at AIMExpo, creating an opportunity for its 216,000 members to gather in one place, at one time and an ideal way to celebrate the AMA’s 90th anniversary.
“AIMExpo is the crossroads where the lifestyle and business of motorcycling come together, and it is a tremendous honor to receive the official AMA endorsement for AIMExpo,” said Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group Vice President & General Manager Larry Little, who was recognized as the AMA’s Motorcyclist of the Year in January. “Part of the original vision for AIMExpo was to create a platform that could provide benefits for key organizations in motorcycling like the AMA and really make the event a true celebration of motorcycling. We view their endorsement as the opportunity to join with them and grow awareness for the economic and emotional benefits of motorcycling.”
