I Like it & that’s saying a lot
It looks a lot more aerodynamic with the redesigned “Shank-nose” fairing
My riding Bros. & I were sitting around on Fri. night looking at the photos
the one that just bought the Ultra Limited said he REAL Liked what they have done.
The other who has the 14 Street Glide Special was really ticked off
said that if he would’ve waited, he’d have rather bought one of these
He said he’s having trouble with the Info connect box (where you hook up your I-Pod)
that the wire is all funky & there is not enough room to put the adapter & the cord back in the pocket.
looks like that problem has been solved on the Road Glide, as the faring side compartments
(and assuming that where the info hook-up would be on these models)
look way bigger than on the Street Glide. It was only a matter of time till they brought it back.
it is TOO big of a seller from them not to & it seemed for a while
that every custom shop preferred bagger of choice to customize was a Road Glide.
Now again there are only 2 fixed fairing bikes on the market (Kawasaki Vaquero and this one)
Comparable trim levels, but a better engine now to the H-D but still a $2-3000.00 difference in price.
I know Road Glides appeal to some, are fugly to some, and are an aquired taste to others. RGs have definitely grown on me through the years and I definitely need to “aquire” one…..looks nice!
They must be aiming at the average height to under-average height riders with a 5″ change in the handlebars compared to the ’13 RG.
I don’t like it as much as my ’10 FLTRX. That being said, it does have it’s appeal in the way a shiny new floor model often reflects. The side profile of the new “tri-vented” SharkNose actually reminds me of the Kawi Vaquero, which is hugely disappointing. My black bitch will be putting these to sleep when they hit the strip….
That’s a cool bike. Now lets see that Indian!
Yup, its a nice looking bike. I wish they would’ve showed more of it in the video instead of just little pieces of it.

Now that’s the real deal!
What changed? Anything?

Here’s an interesting observation – 6 comments about the new HD, 86 on the subject of the new Indian
