Avon Tyres Introduces New Wide 21” Cobra Whitewall Tire.

Avon-21-InchWhiteWallAvon Tyres now offers the highly sought after wide 21-inch Cobra in a whitewall. Master builders, dealers and consumers who have long awaited a premium whitewall for custom bikes can now choose the popular Cobra tire in a 120/70-21 size with a full 15-mm whitewall.

“We’ve received countless requests for a custom bike tire in this size in a whitewall,” stated Ken Warner, VP of Marketing, Avon Tyres. “A wide 21-inch wheel is often the custom fitment of choice, but until now there’s been little to choose from when it comes to a high-end option in a whitewall. We’re dedicated to improving our product offering to meet customer needs, and this new Cobra whitewall is the next step in that process.”

The ultra-quiet Cobra incorporates sport tire technology for nimble handling, incredible stability and long life. Its special construction and aggressive tread pattern deliver great handling in a variety of conditions, along with great performance and style. There are now nine whitewall sizes available including the new 120/70-21. For more information, visit Avon Cobra Tires.

Don’t like whitewalls but DO like the Cobras

Have just fitted a pair to my 883R and they have transformed the handling
ten times better when turning in etc

While it’s not hard to improve on the OEM tires, after moving “up” to the plush ride of the fat front tire on my FXDF, I’m miffed to see the FLH’s going to “smaller” front tires…I like the way the 130/16 feels like it’s on a rail compared to the comparatively skittish front end on my last bike, an FXDXT with a 19″

Have a hard enough time trying to keep a bike looking great and detailed, don’t need to scrub whitewalls too. Whitewalls belong on 57 Chevys. Guess I’m just too lazy!

How am I the only one thinking this is 3+ years late?? When a cheap tire company beats you to the punch for the past 3+ years and people continuously ask you for this tire and you yield to produce it…stupidity on your part avon
