Ya mean chicks were riding motorcycles before the MoCo said it was OK!

And they did it without “anti-lock brakes” or “electric starters”….. Wow!
Without i-phones or The national Organization for Women.
(or Government help for that matter)

Must-a-been in the days when people could actually “do something WITHOUT help.”

@ nicker, yeah, but there were only 3 bikes for every 11½ women back then. Now there’s probably a “program” to aid potentially disenfranchised bikers to be 😉

American women, the spirit of America.
Way to go, giving them credit.
Just like “Dottie Mattern” who won women’s class in 2014 Cannonball run, A colon cancer survivor.
American spirit rides on, even today.

Great photograph. Women actually did a lot through history. Men just cut them out. Having a photograph and few writings to record moments as shown here…priceless.

Agree with Kathy. Women and African-Americans did much to advance this country. The powers-that-be did much to have their efforts overlooked.

To quote the song that sum it up: “Girls just wanna have fun”–“same as it ever was!”

Great pic The 2 ladies on the left appear to be on Indian Jr Scouts while the lady on the right appears to be on a Harley.

Uh, Marilyn, them’s two very different songs.

Thank you Kathy & Kroeter. there is a LOT unwritten
on the history of women & minorities in motorcycle history.
But a lot of it is kept alive by the stories that get told from biker to biker.
Oh, ok, that doesn’t happen with this generation, anymore !!!
If it;s not on the “Net or the Cloud” it never happened ???
Somebody get a piece of paper (or online) and write some of this stuff down ????
Classy photos of a lot of classy Ladies !!!
    Women who ride, Rock !!!!!

This reminds me of the women in my family. Don’t get me wrong, we all wash the dishes after a meal, but because we want it done right, not because we have too.. Thank you for paving the way ladies.. And for staying ladies. 🙂
