Postcards From Custombike 10th Anniversary Show In Bad Salzuflen, Germany

During the weekend of December 5-7, Publisher Huber-Verlag Group (5 motorcycle magazines) held its 10th anniversary trade fair and bike show at the Messe of Bad Salzuflen in Germany. A record triple record of attendance for exhibitors, visitors and builders with 900 custom bikes spread on 4 halls competing for 16 trophies.     Interesting and creative, but obviously most of these were never meant to be ridden.

    They sure like their Vrods, but maybe will switch to Scout. Also, what is that longitudinal one?

    Here’s to the Euro sensibility that is not married to a 45 degree v twin basis for building.

    It doesn’t always work, but then again I’m the product of a sensibility that argues that if it ain’t a 45 degree v twin then it’s junk so I don’t deserve to be too judgemental.
