Polaris Recalls Victory Motorcycles With Fuel Pump Issue

cross-country-8ball-lightbox-03Victory Motorcycles is recalling 2,342 model year 2013-2014 Victory Cross Country, Cross Roads, Hammer Eight Ball, High Ball, Jackpot, Vegas Eight Ball, 2014 Victory Cross Country Eight Ball, Cross Roads Eight Ball, Ness Cross Country, 2015 Victory Gunner, and 2013 Victory Hardball motorcycles.

The fuel pump in may have been crimped incorrectly during manufacturing, which may result in the fuel pump seizing, causing the motorcycle to stall and increasing the risk of a crash. Victory will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on January 19, 2015. Owners may contact Victory consumer service at 1-877-737-7172. Polaris’ number for this recall is V-15-01 A/B.

    Ya, seen that along with clogged fuel filters and dissolving fuel lines,…. due to “the new gas” on my K-model Beemer..

    Certainly damned inconvenient, but “…. increasing the risk of a crash …” ???

    I had a fuel pump problem, it would build up pressure in the tank, and vent when I opened the tank. They covered it under warranty. The ethanol fuel at any grade does effect the system. I keep putting gas treatment in it and it helps. 75,000 Plus miles and going strong.
