Extended Float Bowl Screws For Easy Tuning & Service

1lowbrow-customs-float-bowl-screws-superE2lowbrow-customs-float-bowl-screws-CVYou know that the carburetor controls the ratio of the fuel/air mixture entering the engine and that the float controls the amount of fuel that enters the float chamber, restricting or cutting off the supply by its settings. Sooner or later you may need to do a jet change while tuning your carb or having to drop its bowl.

Hence these extended float bowl screws for your CV or S&S Super E to make changes a breeze. Each set of four features steel studs and is available in your choice of brass or chrome plated brass for $44.95. Made in the USA. Worldwide shipping. They are also available from Yost made of stainless steel for less money.

Brass won’t seize after time when threaded into aluminum like stainless will. Of course, neither one should if they are used frequently.

Keino also made them with nice knurled knobs on the ends so you don’t need a tool to use them. I have them on my S&S carb.

    Long live the CV …

I had the Keino on my old S&S, but I thought I remembered them being much more expensive??

One would think that the CV kit would fit a Mikuni HSR 42,44, or 48. I know the thread pitch is the same, length should be same as well. I know as I’ve borrowed a CV screw or two for my buddies 42 and they worked perfectly.

Will the screws work on my 1987 Honda Rebel 250 Keihin carb? The carb is clogged and SeaFoam won’t dissolve the shellac. Removing the float bowl drain screw does a-nothing. Won’t even drain.
You know what pulling the carburetor means…… the book suggest it’s a two person job.
I can get under there to remove the float bowl screws…maybe.
Sure would be nice to have some longer replacement screws for Japan’s first blatant rip-off of the Harley-Davidson Narrow-Glide.

Sorry Kirk, Those Rebel carbs are disposable. Battery acid and a 12volt shock will clean it tho!
