Agree with Mr. Pandya ….
But, like the previous stereo article, there is a lot to like about Akrapovic
Except the price !!!
Too many other options out there that the quality & the sound
is just as good, for equal or a lesser cost.
Vance & Hines, Reinhardt, Supertrapp/Python are a few on the “upscale” side
Hell, you got that new “Crusher” brand & Cobra on the low end
Too many choices for the $$$$
Doesn’t sound much different from stock pipes.
Victory needs to make their pipes sound more aggressive from the factory.
FYB
I believe these are mainly for the Euro market, they have limitations that we don’t…
LIKE TO SEE INDIAN SCOUT 2 IN1 PIPE ?
Anything is better than the garbage pipes Victory puts on stock bikes. I know, I have a Vegas. Victory hasn’t bothered to change the stock set-up on steel framed bikes since 2003. Stock are too long, too heavy, and too dated. Maybe eventually Polaris will decide to pay some attention to Victory and do something, anything besides change paint.
Nice. I like the style of the stock pipes, these will have a bit more attitude. Couple months ago I was looking to buy a Gunner, (ended up with a Chief Vintage at my wifes insistence!) and had been looking at the aftermarket to get the same look, with more sound. These would have fit the bill!
